"Then stop me, you must." Vendetta spoke simply. "But not today, child."

She vanished into black vapour, and her army of psychopaths looked surprised as they too dissipated into the air.

One was left behind, he looked around worriedly for a moment, and then turned tail and ran away.

Alana barely blinked as the beast showed itself. "Finally." She spoke softly, ready to attack, before Bazyl headed inwards.

She blinked at her own reflection in the sword, and sighed.

"I should really get my bangs changed. They've been the same for a century."

Wesley would put Saleme down and in a blur of speed knock the bark away.

"You know I could have taken that easily Wesley." He stated

Wesley looked in the direction that the woman took off in "we going after her?" He asked

Theo hummed "she just had her fix of human blood. We wouldn't be able to damage her if we wanted to. She's 'invincible' but not to worry, my plants know how to track her when she hungry for more blood we'll be able to intercept her and deal with her"

Wesley hissed "stupid bats, man everything is just crawling out of the woodwork isn't it. We haven't had this much supernatural trouble in all my time that my family lived here."

"Aye..." Theo muttered then looked at Saleme

A phone was heard

Wesley pulled out his phone "this is Wesley Silverfur."

"Wesley, we just had a call from Matthew, seems something went down off of 8th and Palm and he called for emergency backup for him and Estella. HQ already sent units but I just thought you might want to know."

Wesley sighed "thanks... I'll head in that direction..." He hung up and looked at Theo "Mathoss and Estella called HQ. Seems something went down on 8th and Palm and they needed backup"

"I thought I told those two to go straight back to your den." Theo muttered in displeasure then sighed "I thought I felt a surge of plant magic in that direction. Come let's go."

"eh what about Saleme." Wesley muttered

Theo exhaled "I don't really want to deal with him when he comes too..."

Estella sighed in slight relief "she's gone... for now..."

Mathoss hissed "yeah for now..." He looked around "uh... look at this mess."

The leader of the police units clicked his radio "HQ get the coroners down here, we got at least 20 if not more bodies here."

"Copy that."

"eh Reso." A officer called then made reference down the street to the cultist that had ran "we going after that one?"

"Seal off the area and if we find him we'll take him in for questioning." Reso stated

"10-4."

Reso sighed "you two alright?"

Mathoss hummed "thanks for coming Reso."

Reso hummed "don't mention it." He looked around and noticed the oak that Estella had used for the summon was now gone "hey what happened to the tree that was over there."

"believe it or not it's grew feet, claws and started walking and turning anything it could catch into plant food." Mathoss stated

Reso blinked "really."

Estella replied "I'm sorry, we were facing down at least 8 if not 10 people and I had to even the odds by turning a tree into a Treant, more or less a giant tree being capable of fighting." She sighed as she pointed to the pile of rotten plant material "but even it was no match for the woman who calls herself Vendetta. She went into it and corrupted it. I urge caution on getting near it, it's tainted with bio and death magic."

Reso made a face "I'll tell HQ to send a Hazmat team as well." He muttered

~Forest Bay Outside The Station.
As several cracks begun to echo from Salemes corpse his eyes would shoot open. “You do not need too Maria being here only confirms an issue I have” Saleme muttered getting up and flipping through his phone.

~Catacombs
The creature would grin as it began to bubble chaotically there seem to be explosion from inside it body as the stomach ripped open sending a acid like substance shooting at his two targets.
“I’ll devour you all!” it screeched.

"Be careful, Bazyl!" Alana shouted as she dropped down to the floor, the acid just skimming her head as she did so. The catacombs were suddenly filled with the scent of burned hair.

"In other news, guys-" Alana began from the floor, still crouched, ready to counterattack.

"-I don't have those bangs anymore."

"Why didn't you let us kill those people, V?" One of the cultists moaned, cradling his chainsaw.

Vendetta glared at him. He flushed white. 

"Uh, I mean, Mistress? Mistress of the Darkness?"

Vendetta sighed. It wasn't getting easier with these people.

"I'm not a comic book villain, and my ego doesn't need to be stoked with such futile titles. You WILL demure to me as your master, however. And to answer your question, what on earth made you think you'd kill any of those people? One or two, perhaps, but they are magical, and you are not. I encourage your decision to throw your life away for the cause, but if it's all the same to you, you can do that when the time is right."

"When....when will that time be right?" He asked, shivering a little.

"Well, not too long, now. The flower is blooming, and the child is awake. Keep your edges sharp."

Raija sat lie in wait as the beast started to speak and unleash an acid attack out of its stomach. Raija took this time to drop from above the creature, reaching to stab her sword into one of the creature's eyes. "Can't eat what ya can't see!" She said with a giggle.

Theo hummed "and what issue is that Saleme if I may be so bold to ask. You seem to know something about this whole mess."

Raija glanced over as she heard the creature drop and the woman calling out to them. Flipping over and sinking into the shadow a bit to brace her landing. "Oh, help?" She said slithering along the shadows to the woman. "Lead the way! I don't trust her." She said to the other two.
