At the mention of danger, Miss Shima looked puzzled. "You were...in physical danger? I don't remember the missing students with injuries..." She broke off as she saw the general state of the students, looking little closer they were at best, slightly ruffled, and at worst, Priya had grazed her knee.
"Oh! Oh I'm so sorry! I had no idea!" The woman exclaimed, her eyes blinking back tears. "I never meant to endanger you- I-"
This all seemed a bit much for her, and she took a moment to calm herself. It was clear she had a lot of feelings about this.
"I understand completely if you want to stop, then. But, if you wanted to continue...I can try and run this as a vocational trainee security guard thing, that way I can get you access to some light weaponry, and of course my office is always stocked with first aid items..." She seemed to say these last words aloud, they were clearly her thoughts.
"I'll try to equip you as best I can, if you want to continue." She looked back to Meika. "As for better living arrangements... I've already sorted that. Your cell- sorry, habit- rooms are in the same wing. Minimum security, best beds, televisions, computer access- although the search history is constantly monitored by some poor security guard so maybe be careful what you search- and you're also on priority meals so you eat first. Hatsumomo agreed that you needed the best treatment if you're the 'psychology focus group', so you'll see no disagreements from anyone there. It's the least I can do for you, I know, and I want you to know that I'll help you as you see fit."
She looked to Karma, and tutted, scribbling some notes in her behavoural analysis journal. "I cannot disclose such information to a student, I'm afraid. This may reflect badly on your report, Karma. I do appreciate your conviction to behave, however."
She quietly tore the page from her journal and passed it over to him, allowing the other students to read clearly what it said.
============================================= Second Floor, Gold Plaque. One security camera on the left outside the door, no cameras inside. I'm not very good with cars, but it's a Red Ferrari, number plate H9 M0M0.
I think she bugs my office, but only listens out for her own name- I've discussed her before and she's been horrible to me about it, but I've also spoke aloud about the Fushigi tragedies and she's never mentioned it. Something tells me she may know more than she lets on, but doesn't want the lawsuit. I'm sure she's fired Masatou. =============================================
"Now, I think I've answered as best I can." Miss Shima spoke. "And it's time for us all to sleep, I think- it's late, and past curfew- not that that's your fault- and you must be tired. Before I sleep, I'll be collecting some supplies you can use, and I'll brief you on local news around the school. There's no lessons tomorrow, so you may get some recreational time outside, near the car park-" She raised her eyebrows at Karma "-and you'll spend some time investigating. Now, head on off to bed, I'm sure that Santos must already be up there."
(After any responses, they'll be a time skip. Feel free to describe your rooms if you like, they'll be like the original Fushigi rooms, just with bars on the windows, really, and a common area lounge in the middle so the gang can chat together)

Karma mulled on Ms. Shima’s words. “Even if we wanted to stop, I’m not so sure we have a choice. In fact, I’m actually a bit concerned about Santos. He wasn’t much of a team player, but he was part of the team. Whatever’s going on can’t be happy about him trying to call it quits,” He trailed off, leaving the thought behind. “The weapons though, those should come in handy,” Karma breathed, several different scenarios running through his head regarding not only the Shadows but Fushigi’s staff.
“I cannot disclose such information to a student, I'm afraid. This may reflect badly on your report, Karma. I do appreciate your conviction to behave, however.”
He folded his arms and kissed his teeth in response, though he perked up after reading the note. A smirk played across his face. “Whatever, I don’t need it anyway. She could fall off a horse for all I care.” He pivoted on his foot and tossed a hand into the air as he began departing. “I’ll see you delinquents tomorrow. Bright and early. Got a world to save, eh?” He asked, sarcasm dripping over his voice.
“Cut the brake lines?” Karma muttered in thought. He shook his head. “Matsu-ho-some-mo is belligerent and disrespectful, but killing her might be a little much.” Karma turned a corner. “Banana in the tailpipe?” Karma mumbled, scratching his chin. He shook his head. “No, no. Too obvious. Yellow fruit sticking out of a red Ferrari? Somebody is bound to notice a fruit in an exotic car.” Another corner. “Remote control?” Karma let loose an exasperated sigh. “I’m not nearly techno-savvy enough to hack a Ferrari’s computer.”
After finally arriving at his cell-dorm, he plopped on what Ms. Shima described as the ‘best beds’ around. “Maybe if I could somehow get her car into a classroom…” Another dud of an idea. Looking over at his bar-ridden windows a sly grin formed along with a bright idea. “Somebody’s gotta have a wrench…”

Sosuke had finally returned after his small mission becoming unsuccessful. He didn't find a single thing that would help connect his brothers disappearance. However, he would not give up that easily. The young male entered his room and instantly dropped his body against the mattress of his bed. His hazel eyes shut closed, as he continued to think about Kite until he would fall into a deep sleep.

Meika nodded as Ms. Shima gave karma the letter. Reading it slowly, her eyes followed as Karma gave it back. After Ms. Shima dismissed them, she trotted to her dorm. A bed in the far right corner, hovered by a window. A tapestry hung on the opposite wall, not the best home decor. There was a wardrobe in the far left corner and a tv and desk directly across from the foot of the bed. She sat down in the bed and sighed, falling asleep before she could even think

Sophie didn’t expect today to be so hectic she just wanted to be average her whole life and didn’t want any trouble and now she was caught up in some supernatural bullcrap that she didn’t want anything to do with. She had spent so long dealing with regular crap she couldn’t help but feel out of her league. This however didn’t change the situation that she knew and that was if she was going to make it out of bad situations that were inevitably going to occur she would need to work well with the others. Sat in her cell she begun thinking about her new allies hoping that tomorrow would be much better for her because she barely knew much about any of them.
Hikaru was up late in his office going over the files of the students. “I will suggest they get extra study sessions with me or with one of the others…” He muttered. “Masatou was more than eager to drag them all into this I cannot help but feel really guilty about them getting involved” he thought to himself.

As night passed over the academy, and students and staff and guards alike all went to rest, the place grew quiet, with only the night guards keeping watch. As the clock struck twelve, however, the academy became silent. The moon glowed red, and spilled its red light over the entire school. The guards froze in place, turning completely grey. At this moment, Priya, Sophie, Meika, Karma and Sosuke will all have the same dream. Fushigi Phenomena: The Blood Moon
You tear through the halls of the school, panting and sweating.
Your feet slap and echo off the tiles, noticeable in the silence of the academy.
You make your way to the doors of the auditorium, and as you spread open both doors, red light will fill your vision, and the dream will end.
After this, each of them will awake, to the dead silence of the frozen academy, and their cell door wide open. Priya shivered. The dream had felt almost real. Like a....sign? She tossed and tried to get back to sleep, ignoring her cell door, not wanting the trouble, but she found it difficult to return to sleep. She huffed and looked back to her clock. Her eyes widened as it still read 12:00. No time had passed. She crept from her bed to the window, and lifted the blind. Red light poured into her room, from the blood moon outside. She pinched herself and swore.
"This is too weird to not be real..." She spoke, before quickly dressing herself and looking outside her cell. She shrank back as she saw a guard in the corridor, but then looked back again to look at him closely. He was completely grey, as if made of stone.
"Wha...what the f..." She began, before running past him. The auditorium must be the place to go. The school halls were eerily silent, red light from the blood moon splashed all over the corridors like the set of some cheesy horror movie. But the spook of it was the reality of the situation, and how helpless she felt. Was everyone else frozen in time? Her persona was telling her that she wasn't alone.
After a walk across the campus, passing more frozen guards, she arrived at the door. She looked at her watch. Still 12:00. Fushigi clearly wanted to show them something. Priya stood still outside the door, and waited for the others to arrive.
(This way we can all go in together, so you can post your characters walk through the frozen school, and we can react together to what's inside. Kimiko and Hikaru will wake up inside the auditorium.)
Once the group were together, they would enter the auditorium together. The light from behind the doors would flash in their eyes, and something loud would blare at them.
As the intro finished, and the light subsided, the group would see that the auditorium had been changed into a large courtroom, with a large gathering of shadowy beings hooting and hollering as a large shadow took to the podium. Several cameras turned to the face the group, and the large shadow began to speak.
"ALL sIt fOR tHe dIShonoURaBLe juDGe JooDiE!" The shadow shouted, to raucous laughter and applause. With that, other shadows flew into the tall shadow, creating a giant, stern looking female Judge caricature.
"Sophie, Karma, Meika, and Sosuke. You ALL stand accused of crimes against shadow society. How do you plead? Guilty? or Guilty?" She spoke, her voice booming around the auditorium. The shadows in the stands jeered, and the jury stand remained empty.
"To judge you, we've assembled a jury of your peers- give a warm round of applause for the dead of Fushigi High, and the people they left behind so many years ago!"
The crowd booed and laughed as 8 blue will o the wisps appeared in the stands, and Kimiko and Hikaru would be thrust forward, into view of the crowd.
"You might be wondering where Masatou, our oldest friend, is. Word is he's long gone from here, completely forgetting us. Perhaps his lie will be happier, now."
The crowd booed louder, and one of the wisps shook angrily, but barely moved.
"And as for Santos, you may wonder...well, he suffered a very unfortunate accident on his way to freedom."
At this, the shadow court screamed into horrific laughter, the implication less than subtle.
"As you can tell..." The judge spoke to the group, bending lower, her voice growing deeper. "...we've become very lonely. So, who wants to go first?"

"how about me, I like to say my piece in front of a live courtroom audience" An arrogant male voice stated as a surge of darkness occurred and a gray skinned black haired mid 20s adult male appeared in one of the empty jury seats in a lean back with his feet up in a position that suggested that he didn't give a damn about proper posture. The man was in light dark colored armor designed to keep him mobile while protecting him. His eyes had a golden hue to them not quite like the shadows but yet definitely not human hues. He had a medium build and minus the skin and hair color could look like an older Santos.
"even if you don't want me to, I will say it." The male stated "your so called accident had a little hiccup and I really do mean a hiccup because you see there was someone out there who was praying to every god out there to protect and bring someone she cares about home to her and fortunately for her there was a god who listened and sent me to aid the one who was about to have that accident. Why let me show you exactly what happened."
With a point of a index finger a screen appeared showing what appeared to be footage from a street camera near a bridge
A taxi cab would be driving towards the bridge then something seemed to occur within it causing a flash then the door popped open and Santos would be thrown out of the moving vehicle and perform a tumbling roll and come to a stop on his stomach and he would be on all fours as he glared at the taxicab. The taxicab would veer left and right out of control until it crashed into the railing and went off the edge disappearing into the murky darkness.
Santos would picked himself up with a grunt and dust himself off. A vehicle would then pull up as Masato would get out of it and run over to Santos. The two would talk for a moment then Masato made reference to his car and Santos would nod. They would get back into the car and drive off.
"Let's cut to the next scene and just see what the resolution is."
Masato's vehicle would pull up to the front of a large house. Santos would get out of the passenger door
"Thanks for the lift Professor, sorry about your job and your son."
"it's not your fault Santos." Masato would state "it's most likely better for both me and my wife to truly move on. I wish I could have done more to save my son but that is just past regret that I now realize is holding me back from seeing the truth. My son is dead and there is no way to return him to the living. I only hope that whatever god out there has mercy on his soul and saves him from hell but I suppose that is not my call is it."
Santos hummed "no it's not but if there is still a chance for him to be saved like I was tonight. I'll make sure to pray for it so that it gets put into a request."
Masato hummed "yes... thank you Santos and farewell." He would drive off
Santos hummed then turned to the camera "Oy, Angel if you can manage it grab Arashi out of hell as well. I'm sure he's served enough time for his crimes."
"Yes, save me Angel." Arashi's wisp would pulse
The male smirked "Saving now." He held out his hand and a white beam would surround the wisp and make it vanish.
"done Santos." Angel stated
"good now get out of there before the shadows realize that you aren't supposed to be there."
"oh they are aware but they can't do a damn thing about it." Angel laughed "do thank your girlfriend for the prayers she sent off they literally saved your life"
"will do and thanks again."
"my pleasure."
Santos would walk into the house and a white surge would shimmer around it.
Angel chuckled "protection and peace to all in that house may it always serve them." He smiled at the judge "you see, you shadows might talk big but you have very little power when it comes to reality outside of Fushigi High. Anyone wise enough would find a way to get the hell out of this place before it too turns into their graves as for those which it has become their grave well you're the ones responsible for where you are and there is no one else you can blame besides yourselves soon as you learn that you might find your freedom from this place. But any case to those on trial if you want to be judged by a bunch of demons who have nothing better to do with their existence then judge and kill people then by all means stick around you might survive although your chances are better if you get out of this place how you do it is your choice. Personally I just say vanishing a good idea." A shift occurred as the man vanished into smoke that faded out.
"After all if you all just vanish then nothing more happens. You've already seen that effect." Laughter would echo through the courtroom.

I'm sorry to see you've taken this so personally, KC. It's never been my intention to hurt your feelings. This post is full of Godmod and just plain bitterness, which kinda proves why I had to write your characters out, the first time in any RP I've ever had to do that. I didn't enjoy it. If this post makes you feel better about yourself, then I'm glad. But to those who are still in this RP, it's not canon and has not happened, for fairly obvious reasons. Once again, KC, I'm sorry you feel this way. Get better.

Sosuke leaped within his bed as he was awoken from his slumber by his unusual dream. He quickly glanced around, attempting to piece everything together. The boy was left feeling unsettled by the strange vision that appeared to him during his sleep. He ran the back of his head against his perspiration forehead, as he heavily panted along with his sped up heart rate beating against his chest. His distinct colored hues immediately grasped upon his door, instantly questioning on why it was open in the first place. There had to be a reason for it, right? He would take that answer over the others. Sosuke was quick to rise from his bed, slipping on a pair of his old beat up vans and made his "escape." There wasn't much effort needed to be put in, seeing as the halls were silent. He questioned it, but knew nothing good would come from over thinking it. His feet felt as if they were guiding him where he needed to be. Such as, in his dream. He realized exactly where he was heading, instantly putting things together as he noticed the group awaiting as well. With an eyebrow raised, Sosuke didn't say a word. The environment changed before Sosuke's eyes, expanding in disbelief. "I'm still dreaming." He breathed beneath his breath, almost as if he was trying to convince himself in so. The male couldn't believe his eyes, let alone his ears. He didn't know how any of this was possible - only to be left with thousands of questions. This left him to search for answers by his peers surrounding him, "what's going on?!"

Meika shot up out of her bed, a cold sweat and panting. She normally wasn't one to fear, but this dream felt like more than just a dream. Think for the now, see what's in front of you. She paced herself and took her surroundings in. The moon was red, shining bright as the sun in the night sky. Everything around her seemed to be frozen, the guards and every other pedestrian frozen in place. Her heart racing, she stood up and walked out of her cell, carefully examining the guard to make sure he was really frozen. Poking his eyes, patting his pockets for weapons to no avail, pushing his shoulder, not budging.
After gathering enough evidence that things were really this way, she made her way to the dream's objective, the auditorium. She was sure now that the dream was a vision, a vision meant to be followed. She walked slowly, the red light giving her an eerie tranquility.
Seeing everyone at the auditorium, she nodded as a greeting, ready for what's inside.
As the noise came and the light shone, she squinted and covered her ears, grimacing from the irritation. It seems the demons from before fully took over the school and placed them in some trial. "A trial? I'm used to these." Meika walked forward, her fists clenched. "I refuse to answer under the ground that they may incriminate me." She plead with a smile. "Do your worst."
