The Xtreme Regime had recently made a raid on the dimension where Venom Fortress was located, home base of Eclipsion. After freeing several prisoners/test subjects, a major battle ensued between the Regime and Eclipsion, leaving the latter on the losing end and with a bitter taste of defeat in their mouths. However, Eclipsion's passion & desire to destroy the Regime was only emblazoned and has increased efforts to create more MetaSlayers, super-weapons engineered with MetaForce, in order to strike back. They also seek to recruit like-minded individuals to increase their numbers.

Meanwhile, back on Ultria, the Xtreme Regime have made their own efforts to find teammates to fight back Eclipsion's efforts, knowing that they barely made it out of Venom, let alone with the captives. Also knowing that Eclipsion will take revenge for this, they've been watching carefully for any activity involving Eclipsion. Still, Vance, Kaiten, and Angel don't know how long their luck will hold out, or how many times they can rely on the MetaEye, the powerful magic item responsible for evening the odds. Vance has a sneaking suspicion that it will only be a matter of time before they find a way to counter it, like they've done with so much of the Fanza System's defenses & magics.
