Kimiko twiddled her fingers together, mostly keeping eye contact with other faculty members a minimum. Some of the faculty were already huddled together, relaxing before the introduction seminar began. She recognized a few of the teachers to either be graduates of Fushigi or worked there previously. Shima and Hikaru stood out. Part of her wanted to strike up a conversation, but she didn’t know where to begin.
'Ha. So what brings you here?' She thought before shaking her head. 'Obviously, they’ve been hired to work for the new school,' She sighed before glancing back up. She overheard the Director of Finance murmur apathetically. "Half the staff here are traumatized ex-Fushigi ghouls, aren't they?"
Kimiko gasped quietly. She wasn’t new to Fushigi-slander, as most graduates were somehow negatively affected by the disappearance of the Fushigi Eight and all of the weird goings on. “Ms. Nit-“ Kimiko stopped abruptly. She wanted to say something but was too afraid to make enemies on the first day. She looked away quickly.
"The introduction seminar is in 5 minutes. I think you'd better be there, hmm?"
After Ms. Nitta left the room, Kimiko rose to her feet and made her way to the assembly hall where the seminar would take place. Throughout the hour long session, she had lost focus several times. What’s the point of reminding a group of delinquents to be responsible and trustworthy? Just glancing at the audience, there were too many students not paying attention to count.
Masato hummed as he looked to Hikaru and Kimiko "you two are welcome to go before me." He stated calmly
Kimiko stood up and walked toward the podium. Once there she cleared her throat and looked out into the audience. Immediately the pressure piled onto her. The lights seemed a little brighter and the rows stretched further back than normal. She cleared he throat again, this time more awkwardly. “Uh.. well. I’m not really a teacher.. I’m the head librarian at Fushigi Correctional,” She said, looking back down at the podium. “My name is Kimiko Ikegami.. if you’re ever in the library and need help finding something please call upon me..” She mumbled before offering a light smile and walking back to her seat.

Karma watched the seminar, his interest waning in and out. He tried to be a model student as he was in his last school but first-day seminars always killed him. The first mildly interesting thing to happen occurred when Priya probed the audience.
"Excuse me." She whispered softly. "You all agree this is boring, right? Would any of you be willing to help me get out of the hall? I'll make it worth your while."
Karma stifled a snort, listening to the responses of his new peers. Santos quickly declined while Meika agreed with a condition. “You’re gunna get caaaaught, I’d take dark and gloomy’s advice~” He replied in a low and playful, sing-song tone also pointing a thumb toward Santos. “That girl needs a grown escort to the bathroom. If they find two delinquents outta Intro Sem without guards who knows what’ll happen,” He added. Despite his warnings, Karma never denied the help. A grin spread across his face. Might be a little forward to call the girls friends but at least he found two interesting people.

Hikaru would begin speaking after adjusting his tie. “I am Hikaru Speyers and yes I am that Hikaru Speyers the award winning author who has universities offering to pay him a large amount of cash to teach literature. The reason I am not there right now is you lot I actually care what happens to you and it’s my job to make you get a good education. I do warn you though I will most likely throw a book at you if you do not pay attention in my class” Hikaru stated being rather direct to the point was his goal.

Miss Shima nodded kindly as Kimiko and Hikaru made their introductions. Most of the students remained uninterested in meeting the teachers, but hearing that they had both been involved in the previous Fushigi had piqued some interest. There were already several grisly ghost stories circulating the student body, each more ridiculous than the last.
Miss Shima then nodded politely to Masato, wondering if he was ready to proceed with his own introduction.

"Useless." Priya monotoned, hearing Santos' reasons. She turned to Meika, and fluttered her eyelashes. "Whatever could you want in return?" She spoke sardonically.
"At this point, I'm ready to make a few deals to get out of h-"
Priya broke off as the girl who had left earlier to use the toilet stormed back into the hall, screaming hard, her face redder than blood. Her attendant clumsily ran in after her, he'd clearly not managed to catch up to her in the hall.
"I SAW IT! I SAW IT!" The girl screamed, clearly losing it. Several more guards ran down to subdue her. She was fighting them off. The entire student body was now watching her, her outburst a much more entertaining affair.
"A FACE! A SCARRED, MESSED UP FACE IN THE BATHROOM MIRROR!" The girl screamed, her words audible to the hall. At this, the hall went insane.
Some, spooked by the ghost stories, began to scream and hyperventilate themselves, while others, noticing a situation to take advantage of, began yelling and crowing, some rushing the doors, the guards now completely busy.
"Children...children please...!" Miss Shima began, flapping her hands ineffectually as no one could even hear her at the mic.
"Well, bingo." Priya spoke softly, with no emotion. "Rain check on that deal, headphones. Tickets just offered itself."
She stood up smartly in the centre of the prison riot as if she was simply at some boisterous restaurant, and, slipping a contraband mobile phone from her pocket, walked calmly out of the hall, through the door the girl had barged in from.
As she passed the girl, the guards too distracted to notice her, she'd noticed that the girl had clearly been sedated, her eyes fluttering while she muttered to herself in broken Japanese.
"....he asked me to....get help...."

Masato had been about to get up to the podium when literally all hell had broken loose. A girl screamed about seeing a scarred face in the mirror which in turn caused nearly everyone to create a massive riot. Masato just lightly exhaled and went over to Miss Shima and said "it is pointless to try and control them. You thought the original Fushigi High was bad this school is going to be a lot worse. Even with your increased amount of security, the students here will do what they want how they want and when they want to do it especially with the tales that circulate around this school" He hummed as he looked at one of the students (Priya) slip out the same door that the insane girl did. "I am glad I only signed up here to be a math teacher not one to round up the students."
Santos gave a low sigh of boredom "well guess the assembly is over." He stated to the others "now to just wait for the all school punishment because an idiot decided to pursue one of the ghost stories."

Hikaru looked over at Masatou who as he always remembered him was calm collected and smug just like in the old days. “Oh how surprising of you oldman. I figure you be up to that old game of yours, you know stalking them through the security feeds trying to track down lost property and all that” Hikaru stated.
“Just remember not to get to smug around here after all back in those days you weren’t even considered a player” Hikaru now had the book covering his mouth so none could see if he was smirking or frowning. Raising the book to completely cover his face now so his expression could not be seen at all he turned to everyone favourite librarian. “My brother always did enjoy being the centre of attention…” Hikaru muttered to her finding the timing of all things to be well precisely Saleme’s thing after all, who else would manage to cause such a scene without even being in the room.

Masato hummed as Hikaru put in his two cents reminding him about how he pursued one of the missing into losing their cool head and getting sent through a shadow trial.
"and I'm surprised you're not jumping through the portal in the bathroom to try and find your brother when it's clear he's calling out for you." Masato retorted "but I guess you don't really care for him since you've done nothing but profit from his 'disappearance' anyhow."

Heading down the quiet corridor, Priya snickered to herself as she reached into her blouse, and pulled out her contraband mobile phone.
"Hey....cutie....yeah, I'm Izzy....23....blonde.....I love surfing and....video games....Ell-Oh-Ell." She muttered aloud as she typed, successfully catfishing another man. It wouldn't be long before she asked the catfished man to donate to "Izzy's Kickstarter".
"Who says you can't have a successful career in prison?" She giggled to herself, strolling down the corridor, the noise from the great hall dying down as she got further away.
She was getting nearer to the bathroom where the crazy girl had said she'd seen things. Priya snorted.
"Probably skipped her meds."
She was about to see how far she could get, before flicking an eye over her phone battery. Still pretty full.
"Maybe if I can get a picture of some of this crazy Fushigi crap, I'll make some serious money selling the proof. There's still plenty of freaks interested." She reasoned aloud, before heading in.
The bathroom seemed fairly normal, unchanged from its old days, just cleaned, with bars on the windows.
Priya was just about to sigh and leave when she saw something flicker in the mirror. She edged closer, and saw that it was some graffiti- words scratched into the mirror.... reading hELp.
"Ooooh, spooky..." She deadpanned, before a figure to her left caught her attention. Her mouth fell open.
She saw the form of a young man inside the mirror, scarred and scratched, large pieces of mirror jutting out from inside his body. His eyes gleamed a brilliant yellow, and she found him to look strangely familiar.
He smiled at her, and she blinked. "You want....help?" She whispered, clutching her mobile phone tightly to her chest.
He studied her for a second. "No. I think that's your line." He replied softly, in a voice as brittle and cold as glass.
Before she could snap a picture, or even scream, a scarred, greying arm shot out from the mirror, grabbing her, and pulling her inside.

Back in the hall, the students had been subdued, and Miss Shima stood shakily at the podium.
"Well. I think that's perhaps enough introductions for today. You will all be escorted to your rooms shortly, and..."
She broke off as a guard wandered onto the stage and whispered in her ear. She sighed, and looked weary. Students were already beginning to leave as she said.
"A few of you have been selected for an early chat about....acclimating to the school. You'll be asked to join. If you arent, head to your rooms."
After she said this, a guard approached Santos, Meika, Sophie and Karma. "You lucky kids have been selected. Come on, it won't be so bad. Some chick that was sat near you went missing and they're just wondering if you saw anything. Shima's office is just this way."

Santos exhaled loudly in annoyance "Guilt by Association... figures..." He droned then sighed "lead the way..." he stated with boredom "I wouldn't want to get lost in this freak show of a place." He grumbled

Hikaru would close the pages of his book showing his expression hadn’t changed. “It didn’t hurt me when my father said that, it certainly doesn’t hurt me when you say it. Oh and I will be investigating this unlike you I went through these portals no problem” Hikaru stated before smirking. Having sat amongst the panicing students Sophies irritated had grown as others were freaking out though she had stared at the bickering teachers. “Lovers spat I guess” She mumbled trying to ignore the other students around her. Studying her memories of the television shows she use to watch when her parents were at work she could only wonder why no episode had a guide on how to shut the morons up. As the news about the questioning occurred Sophie didn’t look amused not one bit despite the teachers lovely tone. “I’ll probably be blamed for this too…” She thought after hearing the fact she was to be questioned.
Hikaru had made his way over to Shima side smiling. “Miss Shima I would like to accompany you. This place has just opened and a lot of reporters are sniffing around for a scandal. Im use to dealing with the press so it may be useful that I hear what these students have to say” Hikaru advised masking his real reason for wanting to question the students.

Masato smirked at Hikaru "right..." he stated evenly then looked at Miss Shima "Miss Shima I will also request to join this meeting. I have a talent for picking out what is true or not and it will help us determine if these students know anything about the disappearance. I would hate on the first day for another disappearance to be made public and for it to be connected to the fushigi eight turning it into fushigi nine or more."
