Fushigi High: The New Generation

Name: Masato Satou

Bio: 8.5 years ago, he had enrolled Arashi Satou in a high ranked school for students. About a month later his son started getting involved in mysterious activities that Masato questioned the answers that Arashi gave to him and the 'true' story that he told after being confronted. Later he was directly involved in one of the incidents which quickly compounded into a murder of one and the disappearance of the Fushigi Eight, One of which being his son. Fusa was devastated. she couldn't understand how Arashi had disappeared. Masato had one moment been talking with his son as he was helping to pack up then the next moment, Arashi had disappeared as if he hadn't even been there. Masato tried with vein to find the hole that Arashi had jumped into. He knew from Arashi's story that there were portals between the school and this Shadow World but no matter what he did, he could not an active portal to go after his son. When the school was condemned and closed down, he broke in once or twice to try and find his son but to no avail. He then put his faith into something that he knew his son would do if it had come to that. His son would seal himself along with the shadow to prevent a disaster from harming those he cared about. Masato decided he would bury his son with an empty grave and give him a silent honor thanking him for his generally unknown work. For the next 8 years, he and Fusa would move on, requesting that no one bother them about their missing son or his son being one of the fushigi eight, and it wasn't until the present day when Masato got word they were reopening the school that he looked back and decided to see if one last spark of hope could be able to finally open the way back to his son. Using the time he had he pursued certification to be able to teach math and applied, the school accepted him and now he had plans to find his son and bring him or his body back home.

This is Shin, he is a samurai who wields the sword of truth, a powerful blade that cut through lies deceit and anyone who uses those to hide the truth, the sword also has the ability to surpress/disable an opponent special ability.
Flaws:
Though to the point of obsessive - Masato will sololy focus on something to the extreme until he either completes it or is forced to stop. He likes to make sure every angle has been check, every number calculated properly, and every possible thing has been done.
Distrusting - Masato doesn't trust anyone and will not open up to anyone about his inner feelings or what he knows about things until they have proven themselves.
Vengeful - If there has been someone wronged or Masato has been wronged, you can be sure he's gonna get you back tenfold guaranteed

Name: Santos Kurosaki
Age: 18
Profession: Student
Biography: Santos despite his name in some languages meaning saint, is actually quite a dark and harsh young man. Whenever people try to talk to him, they often get growled at to leave him alone. When people want him to do something with them, he's not interested in their petty friendship. When someone gets hurt he doesn't seem to give a damn about helping others giving a rather sardonic comment or a simple "how pathetic..." When people get on his case about why he's such a loner and so heartless. He simply states "we are all heartless, dark beings at our root, why should I pretend to be any different everyone else is just living a facade." His parents were concerned about their sons dark personality and negative view of the world especially his mother but his father who was somewhat like his son in his youth simply stated "it is a phase that I went through that my son has to overcome himself. No one else will be able to pierce the dark shell that my son has built and he must destroy it and I only pray that when he does he'll see a glint of light in our dark world and focus on it like I have." This shell would start to weaken when a young woman named Kiyoko about Santos age would be attracted to Santos but kept her distance somewhat fearing a dark reaction against her however it wouldn't be until she accidentally crashed into him and dropped her things on him that she would get a reaction out of him. She was apologizing profusely expecting a harsh reaction but was surprised when Santos simply picked up her things and gave them back to her stating to just forget about it. The next day she approached him and asked why he wasn't so harsh to her like the others that engaged him. His response was about as equally puzzling "You were already upset enough, I didn't need to add to it besides I've noticed you like hovering around me while still giving me my space. I actually had start to come to terms with you doing that and I wouldn't mind you being a little closer if you desired it" This confession somewhat surprised the girl but she accepted Santos terms and the two hung out together within close range often reading books next to the same tree, studying what they had for classes together and other things including talking about each others views of the world. His was with dark undertones hers was of light undertones which made both agree that there might be some truth to both sides. However as time went on Kiyoko desired to go to a party and wanted Santos to come with and she asked him if he could come with her. Santos would give an exhale of annoyance but consented and the two would go to a party together. However things would take a bad turn when some guy tried to get with Kiyoko to which Santos reacted to with a growl and threat which resulted in that guy taking a swing at him only for him to counter with a OHKO uppercut. Santos decided it was time to leave but others tried to stop him. It seemed the guy he had flattened was popular and his buddies was going to get the bastard that took him out. Santos surprisingly able to hold off people while escorting Kiyoko out of the party. He later somewhat apologized to Kiyoko for ruining the party but stated that the reason he doesn't do social events as they tend to bring out the worst in people especially him. Kiyoko with her eyes a little more opened to the dark nature of humans agreed to his viewpoints, thanked him for defending her, and stated that they would forget about this and move on. With Santos consent they walked off together and had more fun walking together under the moonlight then being at the party. However people would not forget about Santos and he was later arrested for several counts of assault. His lawyer tried to make him plea out but Santos refused to admit guilt even saying he didn't know what people were talking about and the punks who got hurt in a fight most likely deserved it. He wasn't afraid to show his distaste for the so called victims. During the court case, he had to hold back his dark comments and other things but the grin on his face as testimony was given kinda proved that he wasn't exactly innocent but he could get off somehow. It wasn't until Kiyoko was forced to testify that Santos grin broke and he became more serious and confirmed her testimony admitting that he did what she said. He didn't feel betrayed by Kiyoko, she actually was on his side testifying that he didn't throw the first punch and was only defending her while escorting them both out and that any assault that occurred was because it was needed to defend her. The lawyers were surprised at this and Santos lawyer asked Santos why he didn't go with that story in the first place and that he could have gotten off easily. Santos retorted that the lawyer was more interested in a plea deal to admit Santos' guilt then his so called innocence and he made a deal with his girl that he would forget about it if she did, So he did until she didn't. This downplay of the crime was heavily concerning and while he wasn't judged guilty of all the counts of assault. He was sentenced to go to the newly reopened Fushigi High to correct his attitude towards crimes and the dark nature of humanity. His arrest having him expelled from his other school. Kiyoko was afraid for him saying that the school/correctional facility had a weird cult following and to be careful, as there was an unsolved murder, disappearances, along with a whole bunch of weird events. Santos merely reflected that idea back to her and said he wouldn't be nearby in case she got in trouble again and to watch her own back. She agreed and said she would visit/wait for him to come out of the high school and Santos said he would return to her, his light within the darkness.

Persona Appearance and Details:
This is Kuroi tenshi or Black Angel a warrior who defends others while dishing out pain and death to his enemies. Somewhat of a fallen angel, Black know that humanity isn't fully worth protecting and knows it's because of them and their dark emotions that the shadows exist but he'll defend those he cares about and will extend that power to Santos and will follow his command if he proves himself to be like Black Angel. If you dare to fight against evil might and yourself he'll stand with you but if you won't then he'll leave you to the shadows and let you suffer.
His abilities include
Angel Guard: He shields people with large black wings blocking attacks,
Oblivion Wing: An energy laser/field that heavily drains the opponent energy.
Dark Cannon/Dark Saber: Piss him or Santos off and a dark weapon comes out for Black Angel to use as darkness takes over, while it's active he can't use Angel Guard or Oblivion Wing

Flaws:
Strong pessimistic and cynical view of everything: You think you know pessimistic or cynical people wait until you see Santos, if asked whether if the glass is half full or half empty, he'll wonder who drank the poison inside and say the idiot who did gonna pay for it later. This also extends out to his bleak view of humanity and the world in general. There's only a few goods things he'll say about a few people and he'll never admit it aloud.
Sadistic in fights/Heartless afterward: hey they started it, they wanted a fight they got one and if are reeling later, heh heh heh serves you right for picking it and if anyone mad about it, tough. Does Santos look like he's cares?
Harsh: oh yeah, he's doesn't sugarcoat anything. if it's bad, he'll say it's bad, he'll express his view and thoughts without care most of the time, his retorts tend to burn like fire and he'll give you more attitude then you most likely deserve but hey you know, the truth hurts.

Name: Karma Diarmuid
Age: 19
Profession: Student
Biography: Karma was born in Ireland to wealthy financial traders. The couple travel very often and spend little time with their son in person. In their stead, a trusted team of butlers serve as his parental guardians. They’ve done well in grooming him to take over his parent's business though they haven’t really treated him with the love a parent should. Nonetheless, Karma grew up to be a very well-mannered individual with a strong moral code. During his third year at one of Ireland’s prestigious high schools, Karma severely injured a fourth year with a “bright future” ahead of him. Karma found him bullying another student that didn’t match up academically. Despite it being a morally just act, his homeroom teacher brandished him a delinquent that had no right to protect a “bum” with no career goals in life while harming a would-be Statesman. Karma was immediately expelled. His parents who never came home decided to have an intervention with him. After hardly any deliberation, they decided to ship him to Japan, where he would stay with his Uncle as punishment.

Persona Appearance and Details: 
Moon Wukong is a devilish monkey king. He has a love for torture and war. Moon Wukong’s existence is the little piece within Karma that speaks up when Karma’s moral road doesn’t come to the correct stop. His voice was present when Karma caught the bully, and his presence was heard when Karma was fed up with the incessant K’oh fanboys and fangirls.
Flaws: Karma enjoys toying with and humiliating his opponents whether it’s in a game of chess or combat. Despite this, Karma has high morals in a place almost completely devoid of them. Karma also has a lazy personality that carries over into all facets of his life. Due to this he will usually stick to tricks and pranks when dealing with somebody as opposed to full on combat.
Additional Details: Those who saw Karma jump in to stop the bully say they couldn’t differentiate who was the bully anymore. Karma’s tactics were brutal and filled with foul play. Karma is K’oueh’s cousin and now lives with K’oueh’s Father. Underestimating his cousin’s popularity, Karma was nearly assaulted while he went for a morning jog one morning. In retaliation he set up pranks around his commute which left three women with broken legs and a couple others with sprained ankles. This was the final straw, he was put on the waiting list for Fushigi Correctional.

Name: Kimiko Ikegami
Age: 26
Profession: Librarian at Fushigi Correctional
Biography: As we all know, Kimiko was in love with K’oueh Aeed of the missing Fushigi Eight. She was cordial and friendly with the other members, but he was her main focus. After their disappearance and Fushigi’s eventual closing, Kimiko began attending a school cross-town. She had fairly good grades and graduated within a modest top 25%. After graduation, she applied for a government job at the National Diet Library and surprisingly got in swiftly. Her parents accredited it to her C-rank celebrity as being a Fushigi student that knew the Eight. After finally taking up the offer of the chat show host to be on air and discuss the past, she learned of Fushigi’s grand reopening this time as a Correction’s Facility. Using her connections, she was granted a transfer to work as a Librarian there.
Appearance: 
Strengths: Kimiko has always had great memory as long as she could remember. Almost photographic, she’s capable of skimming the pages of several books in the library and passing a quiz immediately afterward. Working in a library has also trained her sense of stealth. She often moves around silently, diligently placing books where they belong.
Hobbies: Reading Lore/Mythology books, online roleplaying, yoga
Flaws: After the Fushigi Eight’s disappearance, Kimiko reverted back to old habits. She lost her confidence once again and to this day remains a very timid and soft-spoken girl. She hides her lack of confidence within the books of the Library, which she strives to keep as clean as possible due to an emerging Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. At the end of her shift, the Library must be as clean as she can possibly make it. Yes, that includes dusting the top shelves nobody uses. Kimiko has become a tsundere, unable to express her feelings properly. The last time she did, the love of her life disappeared.
Additional: Won’t admit it to anyone that was uninvolved with the original Fushigi Eight, but she doesn’t believe they are dead-dead. Since she’s been working at the National Library, she’s been researching lore and mythology to try and find answers. So far she’s found nothing of any substance, but hopefully back on the grounds of the original Fushigi High she can change that. Within the eight years of their absence, her love for K’oueh hasn’t extinguished.

Biography:
Priya is an intelligent girl with a fairly nihilistic view of the world. She is the child of an Indian businessman and a Japanese Hotel director. Both of her parents are incredibly busy people, which leaves Priya to her hobbies. Of which there are many.

Priya is self-involved, sarcastic and snobbish. She also likes to think of herself as a decent person, however, and rationalises her crimes as victimless.

Being in control, shopping, catfishing and guilty pleasure reality shows.
Persona Appearance and Details: 

Kaya is Priya's persona, the embodiment of truth, circled by the binding flame of lies. Kaya has ample battle prowess, but like Momo's persona, her skills mainly lie within sensing shadow activity, and allowing Priya's teammates to communicate through their heads. She is also able to scan enemies to give extra information.
Flaws: Selfish- Priya cannot put others first. She is distrusting and unyeilding.
Kleptomaniac - She's trying to keep a lid on this, because its dangerous, but sometimes she cannot stop herself from taking things that dont belong to her. She's a skilled pickpocket, but her quarry is usually larger.
Control Issues - due to being largely let alone, Priya is used to a certain level of independence, despite her age. In Fushigi Correctional, this will be tested.
Additional Details: Priya never thought of herself as a material girl, but when she was younger she found herself shoplifting for attention. When that didnt work, she realised she actually liked the thrill. Lipsticks became bangles, and bangles became dresses. She'd keep taking and just dump the new items on the way home, or anonymously donate them to charity shops. I she had too many new things, her parents might find out, and at this point, she wanted the rush more than the attention. 

As it usually goes, the rush soon became dulled, and a new high was needed. she pinched a neighbours mail from his mailbox without thinking, and decided to see if she could get a credit card in his name. it worked, and she decided to try it with some others. She never overloaded the cards, a little here, a little there, but soon she was caught out, and hauled off to Fushigi. 

She is also catfishing several men on the internet, all o whom have professed their love or the person she has made up.

Name: Meika Sonohara
Age: 19
Profession: Student by day, Vigilante by night
Biography: Meika, Reika's fledgling, delinquent sister. Oddly enough, they have a very good relationship. Although this one is far more rash and vagabond with her fighting skills, her and her sister would always trade blows in friendly sparring matches. Going through high school she got into a great bit of fights, with everyone. Students, teachers, security guards, police. After many "Disturbing the peace" charges, she got enrolled into Fushigi correctional facility.

Strengths: Stealing, Fighting
Hobbies and Likes: Music, Video games, girls.
Persona Appearance and Details:
The Shiva Sisters, Nix and Styria 
The Shiva sisters are human embodiments of Meika's two childhood sides, her fun and rough side and her dark and threatening one. The two sisters combine to make an icicle ornate motorcycle. The sisters work together in coordinated attacks, also able to reposition theirselves quickly and nimbly. And in case one makes her angry, their icy wrath comes for retribution.
Flaws: Coldness- Extremely coldness to outsiders. Basically anyone that isn't her family. She will be cordial to complete non-threats, but anything else get rash behavior.
Rebellious- Doesn't listen to anyone she doesn't want to. At anytime. Or anyplace.
Arrogant- She firmly believes nobody but her sister can fight her in hand-to-hand combat. Extensive training that rivals her sister and a colder heart makes her even more of a force than Reika sometimes.

Derpyarcanine's Character:


Name: Hikaru Speyers
Age: 24
Profession: Literature Teacher
Biography: Originally a student at Fushigi Hikaru is no stranger to the eight that vanished to one of them he was family. These days Hikaru family relationship has become rather estranged due to the fact he released a book on the vanishing of his brother and the others seven. This resulted in him becoming a published author with a rather large fan base.
The book does not have details on the dungeon but it does have personal information he acquired from his trips into them. The money he gained from this book was set up to establish a bank account for the eight to use if they ever returned granted he has never told anyone about it. Hikaru is now a famous author due to his first book being a massive hit this has caused some people to claim he has monopolized on the tragedy despite the fact all other books he has written have not got anything to do with the fushigi eight. When he found out about the institute opening up he decided to apply as a teacher there and due to his success the institute was hoping he could help motivate some of the troubled residents.
Appearance:

Strengths: Hikaru is an excellent fighter originally settling his and Saleme problems with his fists.
Hobbies and Likes: After the disappearance of his brother he began reading books and discovered he enjoys literature more than sports. He writes books
Persona Appearance and Details:

The Mad Hatter is Hikarus Persona created from his love of writing stories and also spawned from a slight bit of jealousy he had when it came to Saleme. The mad hatter is the perfect creator of mysterious because in order for one to understand him one would have to be mad themselves.
Flaws: Hikaru is a very direct and blunt person he will state if you are worth his time or not and doesn’t care for ones feelings on that matter. He is easily annoyed with lazy people and quick to snap. His temper is apparently that menacing some students refer to him as the demon.
Hikaru at times can be a pain to talk to when one wants information that he knows he would rather throw a riddle out and let the person work out the answer themselves than directly tell them the answer.
Additional Details: Hikaru has written several mystery novels. He also has strained relationship with the family members and friends of the missing.

Name: Sophie Grant
Age: 17
Profession: Student
Biography: Sophie was a straight A student who often kept to herself. She didn’t really fit in with most the other students at her old school and struggled to make friends. Sophie does come from a happy family however and both parents lead highly successful careers. Originally from Europe she has transferred from one school after another so she never really got to know people for very long. Sophie isn’t the type of girl to consider herself as pretty and therefore doesn’t care much for makeup and accessories.

Appearance:
Strengths: Situation Assessment: Sophie is extremely talented at assessing situation this grants her an advantage when it comes to realizing what she can use in the environment to increase her chances of success.
Gymnastics: Sophie studied gymnastics allowing her to perform flips and some acrobatic.
Hobbies and Likes: Sophie enjoys gardening and painting. She often enjoys puzzle games as well. She use to enjoy smoking.
Persona Appearance and Details:
Athena is Sophie’s persona created from Sophie tactical personality and wit Athena excels at the ability to apply statues buffs to allies. She also possess the ability to

Flaws: Sophie doesn’t like to trust people and can be rather impatient when it comes to others.
Sophie has a somewhat snarky wit about her which she often uses at the most inappropriate times.
She hates the spotlight being on her and would rather blend into the background.
Additional Details: Sophie was involved in an incident at her school’s library. A fire broke out in a room she had previously been smoking in. Sophie knows she didn’t cause the fire but when it was her word against the other students no one was willing to side with the new girl in town.

"So, it begins today." Nadeshiko Shima spoke softly, sighing into her coffee cup.

"Oh yeah, you were here before, huh?" Another blonde teacher spoke apathetically, flicking through her magazine. "Half the staff here are traumatized ex-Fushigi ghouls, aren't they?"

Miss Shima blanched at this. "P-people have suffered, Ms...?"

The young blonde teacher finally looked at Miss Shima, tossing her golden tresses over her shoulder. "I'm Ms. Nitta. Director of Finance. Call me Hatsumomo. I look forward to seeing how you media treasures do. You're certainly cheap hire."

She glanced at her phone while Shima was still looking for something to say. 

"The introduction seminar is in 5 minutes. I think you'd better be there, hmm?"

With that, Hatsumomo Nitta glided from the room.

"Young men and women, welcome to your new home!" Miss Shima waved her arms, welcoming the entire student body. "I am Miss Shima, guidance councilor and psychiatrist. I hope that you know that we're all here for you, and want to help you rehabilitate and make it back into society, ahem. Now, ah....if a few of the other teachers would like to introduce themselves...?"

Miss Shima looked down the stage, towards where Hikaru, Masato, and Kimiko were sat.

She finished awkwardly. The students had just endured an hour lecture about responsibility and trust, followed by Miss Shima's introduction.

Watching the seminar, Priya rolled her eyes in boredom. Her gaze flickered to the doors, wondering if she could sneak out. No luck, each door was closed, and a guard positioned on each.

She needed to get out. There was something very important she had to do. As she pondered her own helplessness, she noticed a shaky-looking girl ask to use the lavatory. She was granted her wish, but a guard was escorting her. That won't do.

Looking down her seating, she was sat within earshot of Santos, Karma, Sophie and Meika. 

"Excuse me." She whispered softly. "You all agree this is boring, right? Would any of you be willing to help me get out of the hall? I'll make it worth your while."

The dark haired teen named Santos wouldn't even tip his head to look at the person who was whispering. "not interested." He responded to the request. Despite his attitude to against people. Santos was not interested in stirring up trouble. The last thing he needed was trouble and the girls soft voice and promise to make it worth his while alerted Santos that she was looking for someone to make trouble.

Masato hummed as he looked to Hikaru and Kimiko "you two are welcome to go before me." He stated calmly
