In a land foreign to those mortal, where the unknowable lie in the ethers of the other side.
Where the souls of many reside, flowing to and fro between existence. A wondrous land, devoid of the sin of the world.
Life and Death are foreign to this place.
Pain and Suffering have no name...
A land of pristine nature, housing life as it were her own child...
-------------- Between two worlds, two entities roam the space between the world and the other. Cursed from the ethers, they were tasked with the only blood those of the other could see. They fight those powers of evil that plague the known world. The sins that injected them into their role, the role reserved for those that know hell. Rogues of mind, body, and spirit. However, the birth of The Ones begets the death of purity. The ethers soon became tainted. The Ones The OnlyThey are tasked with fighting that which is like them. ------------ The Ethers - The world of spirits, gentle and caring amongst all. Death is foreign to this place The World - A lot like our Earth, cruel just as it is kind, The Ones are tasked with patrolling the evil in the land. Corruption - The aura that causes death. Altars - Landmarks to traverse between the Ethers and The world. ----------- This RP has only 2 characters played by me and Deandre. Sisera- Jael-

[*The Ethers--Grand Hall*Glass. Everything in the Grand Hall was transparent for all to see the forthcoming judgment. Every soul that inhabited the Ethers gathered around to see the first and only sentencing. A milestone in history that would change the world as everyone knew it. The Grand Hall served one purpose, the house the 3 arbiters of the Ethers. The 3 souls who governed the laws and essence of the other world. Waiting for judgment, two souls that dwarf in comparison. Their physical forms mattered not, for the arbiters only see what's inside. The arbiters voices boomed louder than anything ever heard on the physical world, loud enough to cause the Earth ruin with just a word. But the Ethers were governed by a different set of laws and nothing was heard out of the Hall. For Those Who Have Sunk The Ones That Have Sealed Their Doom Fight Use The Remainder Of Your Existence In Sorrow And the two souls fell. The earthlings would call them "Meteorites". Two streaks of white light streaking through the sky, falling through the atmosphere at an inconceivable pace. They landed down at an altar placed in the Earthlings call "Nevada". The altar was an abandoned amphitheater that seemed perfectly normal to the naked eye. But The Ones from the Ethers saw it's ethereal glow. Regaining consciousness, Sisera took a shocking gasp and scanned her surroundings. She patted her body fervently, she hadn't been in a vessel that obeyed physical laws in a while. She looked in a nearby broken mirror next to a door with a star on it. She was... Small. "THIS is the body I receive!?" Sisera blurted out in outrage, the mirror breaking, followed by a shrill shriek. She looked over at her new found 'partner' Jael and grimaced. "Ugly." "Well, Those God forsaken... GODS and their stiffness. Disgusting." Sisera started to get a feel for her body, jogging in place and doing some stretches. "A lot different than before." An ethereal arrow of red formed in the sky. A beacon of what they were to do but also a terrible omen. Since that which can't be undone has been undone, a new formed evil formed in the physical world. The Nethers. Jael climbed out of the rubble and took in his new surroundings. They were familiar yet foreign. It didn’t match the feeling in his gut. He couldn’t piece together memories, only feelings of the time past eons ago. All he could tell was the Earth had drastically changed. He stood next to Sisera as she looked into the broken mirror. Once Sisera commented on her appearance than his, with quick wits he responded, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” Jael began flexing his bicep. “I’m not that bad to look at,” He admitted with a proud smirk. He rotated his arms, similarly getting a feel for Jael’s newfound mortal body. After throwing a few punches he looked down at his palms. “I don’t remember much from before. It’s more so a *feeling*,” He said, gesturing toward his chest. “The Earth feels different. I don’t know about you but, I don’t like it.” Jael looked up into the sky seeing another ‘meteorite’ leave streaks of red in the sky. “Whether your follow or not, that beacon might be the only route back to the Ethers. I’m going after it,” He explained before taking off on foot. Jael was much faster than the fastest human already but since he wasn’t used to his body yet, he couldn’t tap into all of his power. Nor could he control it. After leaping, Jael miscalculated how much strength to use and ended up jumping onto a building. With a shake of his head, he slapped his face a couple times to psyche himself back up before leaping off the side of the building and onto another rooftop.

"I think I love it!"
Looking up to the red streak, she kept an ear out for what her newfound companion was saying. "Of course." A sudden wind thrashing her clothes and hair around, Jael's body becoming smaller and smaller in the sky."The cooooool guy." Deepening her voice to mock the typical stoic character archetype. "I couldn't get the supportive little brother." Taking a step forward, rubbed her hands together and bent her knees. "Nor the tough big guy. The COOL guy... Hup!" She took off, flying after him.
She flew a circle around him, dragging her hand gently across his face as he landed. "Looks like you're rusty smooth boy." After a wink, she flew ahead of him, figuring he'd meet her there.
The red streak appeared to extend across the entirety of the sky but as she flew, it appeared to get shorter and shorter, soon shooting down to the ground under her. "Hmmm..." She slowly descended down the ladder of red to find a barren land. The earth under her was cracking, the pebbles rattling and the heat rising.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
A large knocking sound erupted every 7 seconds or so, further stretching the faults in the Earth. "Hmmmm...."
Sweat began to drip down, immediately evaporating seconds later due to the heat. "Hup!" She jumped up as a large molten appendage reached from under her, reaching for her. "Whoa! Hothothothothothothot HOT!" She flew farther up, witnessing the size of the beast before her. "Ooooohhhhh they've done it this time."
