Welcome to Shibusen Academy. More commonly known as the Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School. It stands as a defense against the forces of evil, which would plunge the world into chaos and drag humanity into the very depths of fear and madness. The demons known as Kishin, and their eternal hunger for destruction. To ensure that the Kishin never regain their hold on this world, this Academy was founded by the Grim Reaper, Death himself. So basically we're an organization that serves to protect and preserve peace! I guess it's not exactly a typical school. Oh well, that isn't important! For now, lets roll up our sleeves and get to work! - Lord Death
B A C K G R O U N D Shibusen is an academy located in Death City, of Nevada. The school is run by Shinigami, the God of Death himself, as a training facility for Weapons and the human wielders of those weapons, the Meister's. Each Meister has at least one Demon Weapon companion which has both a Weapon and human form. Shinigami created the school as an organization that protects peace in order to prevent the rebirth of the "Kishin", an evil demon god that in the past, nearly destroyed everything by plunging the world into chaos. The main goal of the Academy is to protect the world from evil and preserve peace. In the world, there are humans that may abandon their life as a human and go on the path of an Evil human, a path that transforms them into vicious evil beings that kill innocent humans for their pure souls. When enough souls are consumed, the Evil human can transform into an incredibly dangerous being called a Kishin. To stop this, the academy trains people to combat against these Evil humans, by training their students from a young age to fight and kill these beings. The academy trains these Meisters and Weapons to also combat against Witches, which also threaten the peace of the world. Many students are motivated into fighting against the Evil humans and Witches with their main goal: making or becoming a Death scythe. When a Demon Weapon has consumed a certain amount of souls in a particular order (99 Evil human souls and 1 Witch Soul) they gain extraordinary power and can be used by Lord Death himself. Creating a Death scythe is thus known to be a hard and difficult process, and many Meisters are respected for creating a Death scythe, and Death scythes themselves are respected among the students as well.

In Shibusen, there are two types of lessons. The usual lessons that take place in classrooms, and extracurricular lessons, which are missions that students undertake in order to fight Evil humans or Witches and solve various problems that are out of the range of the average police force. The class lessons are based mostly around on the subject of 'Soul Studies' as knowledge of souls are important for the students of the academy.
Extracurricular or supplementary lessons involve fighting and thus, is quite dangerous, so the various missions on offer are ranked and have specific requirements. Students must have their chosen mission approved by the receptionist before being able to go on it. The Evil human souls that they collect are tallied and some students who, purposely do not collect any Evil human souls on their missions, are often punished by having to do school chores, or often signed up for extra lessons. Also, if a Meister and Weapon pair accidentally acquire a soul that is neither Evil human or Witch, or they end up causing a lot of damage in their mission, all of the souls they have collected are confiscated by Shinigami. Whilst not in lessons, students live either in rented apartments, or school dormitories. Each students gets a weekly pocket money of $200 to spend. However, if for some reason, they spend all of it, they will not be able to get any more money until the next week. Because of the large amount of students that end up penniless, many shops in Death City cater for students wanting to work part-time to earn money. There is no set uniform for the students of Shibusen, however, there are a variety of uniforms once can choose from, and one can match any top with any bottom. Casual clothes are also accepted. The DWMA is a rather special school in that students can actually change their names upon entering it. These names are known as 'pseudonyms'. Once a student has changed their name, they are stuck with the same name for a minimum of two years.

The Academy is quite big and grand inside and contains many long corridors with arched ceilings and lamps to light the way and staircases. The corridors also have round windows looking out onto the school grounds. Shibusen is infamous for its winding corridors, many passageways and long staircases. There is a long staircase leading up to the school itself. This structure is on purpose as the Academy seeks to improve its students physical fitness and strength in mind and soul even in everyday school life.
Cafeteria: The school has a large cafeteria providing the students with food during the school day. It has a rich menu, serving meals from all around the world.
Library: The Library is incredibly big, a large room that goes up to at least three floors, with bridges connecting the opposite sides of each floor, with shelves upon shelves of books and has desks with lit torches for study. The Library follows a rule which restricts some students to only be able to look at a limited number of books in the Library. The books are divided into four categories: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. Meisters up to Two Stars in rank can have access to Level 1 books, but cannot have access to Level 2 books, which can be read by Three Star Meisters. Level 3 books can only be accessed by staff and the highest rank, Level 4, can only be availabe to Senior Meisters or Death Scythes.
Mission Bulletin and Reception: One of the lively places in the Academy, the Mission Bulletin is where Meisters get their missions to hunt Evil humans and get more Kishin Eggs to make their Weapons Death Scythes. Descriptions of each mission are written on cards and placed on the bulletin. Students are free to pick which mission they want, but the missions can have special requirements written on them as well, like the ability to sense souls. Some missions can be dangerous, and mainly include killing Evil humans. However, some do not involve Evil human and are just missions to create peace and help people in distress. Near the bulletin is the Reception. Here, students who have chosen their missions take their mission cards to the receptionist who checks whether they are viable for the mission before actually assigning the mission to them.
Classrooms: The classrooms are also wide and spacious and resemble lecture halls rather than classrooms, with pitched floors and conjoined desks and the blackboard and the teacher's desk in the centre. There are also windows at the back which provide a view of the grounds. Each class has a homeroom teacher.
Dispensary: The area where sick or injured Meisters and Weapons are treated. The dispensary is a typical hospital room with several beds and an examining room, a doctor's office and a storeroom for all the medicine. In the hospital wards, a couple of health posters can be seen.
Dojo: The Academy also has its own dojo, where students, both Meister and Weapon, spar with each other, with Nygus as referee.
Dance Studio: Not really used for dancing, this room is usually used for beginner Meisters and their Weapons to improve their combat skills. The room is wide and spacious in order for plenty of movement for more than one person, and has some side benches and a locker area and changing rooms.
Firing Range: For students wielding gun-type Weapon partners, there is also a firing range to improve their skills. The targets are made to look like Kishin with Asura's three eye markings painted on them.
School Grounds: The Academy have wide balconies for students to access and the grounds in front of the entrance are also used as a makeshift battleground for training fights between students. During these battles, a member of staff must be present to view the fight. The area near Shibusen also seems to be a forest area, where some students use it as a training ground. School Gardens: Lush green gardens with many trees surround the school. It is a perfect place for various students to train individually.
Dormitories: For students who do not live in rented accommodation, grand, luxurious dormitories can be provided for by the Academy. They separated into single-sex dormitories, each run by a superintendent. They take care of basic living facilities, but any other luxuries and food need to be paid for by the students. The dormitories are known for their luxurious layout, with furniture from the 1800s and Meissen crockery.

Full Name: Lana von Braunschbank-Albrechtsberger Pseudonym*: Age: 15. Race: Death Weapon Gender: Female. Meister or Weapon: Weapon. Partner: A V A I L A B L E Biography: A new student to Shibusen Academy, Lana has travelled all the way from Australia to attend this school. It has been nothing but a dream come true, as she is making her parents incredibly proud in so. Lana is best described as an excitable, impulsive, reckless, optimistic, energetic, and short-tempered girl, which is consistent with her normally exaggerated expressions. Due to her great determination, she is always up for a challenge, even if it seems too difficult for her. As Lana is very social, kind, and truly compassionate, people are often drawn to her happy disposition. She has an idealized view of witches inspired by her childhood idol from a television show, which clashes with her fellow students' perception. It is worth mentioning that she is also very immersed in her own fantasies, and sometimes does not account for other's opinions. Appearance: Weapon Form*: Uniform / Costume: Other*: Due to Lana having little to no experience, she still isn't quite aware of how to work with herself as a weapon.
Full Name: Howlington Havenford. Pseudonym*: Howl Moon. Age: 17. Race: Death Weapon. Gender: Male. Meister or Weapon: Weapon. Partner: Isabella. Biography: Howl stems from Salem, Massachusetts. His family discovered his skill when he was incredibly young and had no knowledge of how to cope and handle such a situation. It wasn't until he turned 14 where the male received a letter from Shibusen, quickly taking the journey to attend the school. Personality wise, he is laid back and chooses to speak whenever he feels it is necessary. This often gives him the stereotype of being creepy. He doesn't care about forming friendships, but will not go against it if approached. He is a man who just takes life as it comes. When it comes to his studies, the male surprisingly puts his all into the academy. Whether it be staying later to practice, staying up late to study for a test, and overall interested in improving himself. Although, not one of Shibusen's Elite, Howl crossed paths with Isabella due to a punishment. He was forced to watch her perform a skill he was having a difficult time comprehending. At first, he could not stand Bella, finding her stuck up and prissy. The two surprisingly bonded, joining together to become partners. Despite his quiet nature, Howl was able to pick Isabella up from her depressant funk. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: Weapon Form*: Other*: Being away at school, the boy discovers that his parents pass away due to a fire in their home. Without given a minute to react towards the situation, he went to further investigate the scene. The fire is assumed to have been done purposely. For the next few months, the boy dedicated his time and effort into really discovering what happened to his family. Howl is than later adopted by a lovely couple who live in Death City.
Full Name: Isabella Bordeaux. Pseudonym*: - Age: 17. Race: Witch. (However this is hidden.) Gender: Female. Meister or Weapon: Meister. Partner: Howlington. Biography: Isabella is serious, composed, and erudite. Being descended from a prestigious line of witches back to ancient times, she is exceptionally devoted to her magical studies and to the tradition and history of magic. Her status as one of Shibusen's top students cannot be solely attributed to heredity — she has a self-discipline and maturity far surpassing the average teenage girl. Despite appearing to be callous and condescending, Bella is not heartless nor arrogant: when she chastises other students it is not out of malice but frustration, she cares about the success of others studies and not just her own. This concern contributes to her dependability, she is willing to help out other students to her best ability whenever they ask. Due to her pride in her own abilities and a strong sense of responsibility, she refuses to take credit for other's doings and always admits her mistakes, although she's unable to speak up to teachers due to the trust they have in her. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: Weapon Form*: N/A Other*: Her previous weapon, Haseo Cavendish, was killed off by a witch who was revealed to be a relative of Isabella's own family. The two were of a small mission and stumbled across the witch, Isabella unaware at the time, and Haseo immediately became hungry. The two as a pair were incredibly successful in collecting souls, and the male found it an opportunity to defeat the witch to collect their soul. However; the witch was stronger than the pair and left Isabella without her partner, barely able to escape as well. As a result, the female has a large scar on her inner thigh. Even though the incident was two years ago, the female is still having issues with coping due to Haseo being her lover.

Firstly, I've never seen Soul Eater, but that opening post explained everything so well I actually felt confident enough to join! I'm just going to post my Witch villain character up, first, because I'm going to be writing the Meister to Shiki's weapon and I'm not sure what his character is like yet, and I'd like mine to contrast, lol. I'll edit the other character into this post when I know, just thought I'd get the other out of the way. EDIT: my other character is now in the post. C H A R A C T E R F O R M A T Full Name: Grace Fell-Headwynter Pseudonym*: Gracie, "Silent White" Age: 361 Race: Witch Gender: Female Meister or Weapon: Meister? I'm unsure if witches act alone Partner: na Biography: Grace Fell-Headwynter thinks of herself as one of the great pioneers of the magical community, with her work in life-elongation and glamour spells. In reality, they see her as a freak. Grace has lived so long, hiding her true age using heavy, heady glamours and sickening layers of perfumes and clothing she deems "adorable", that she's lost valuable parts of her mind. The parts that keep her thinking realistic and pragmatic, the parts that let her feel responsibility and maturity. She has become a strange, fey creature of her own making- an extremely powerful, gifted witch, wrapped in the brain of an unhinged young woman obsessed with cute things, getting what she wants...and eventually, she finds something to obsess over. Gracie has found a new obsession around every 5 years of her adult life, and the story always ends the same way. Each obsession winds up dead. Gracie has managed to evade capture for a long, long while now, and it's been nearly a year since her last obsessive project. She's beginning to become bored, and boredom makes her antsy and mad. Gracie is hedonistic, fun loving, and can be friendly and free-spirited, as long as you play act the way she wants you to, without being told. But one misstep and she reveals who she truly is: the real curse of everlasting life that sent her mad and tortures those who end up close to her. Some magic you just don't play with, wiser but less gifted witches will reason, and Gracie is the unfortunate, eternal living proof of that statement. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: Other*: Just to be clear, Gracie can die, just not through the usual natural causes. The "Silent White" pseudonym has been given to her by random townspeople in a superstitious village near where she lives, when Gracie has been known to visit, she always does so at night, in the white, ruffled ballgown in her appearance picture. She's usually a little luminescent, so the townspeople can sometimes see her, silently wandering, taking what she wants, and doing as she pleases. She imagines that they see her as a trickster fairy princess, and giggles to herself all night long, while in reality they think she's a cruel apparition and lock the doors and hide the children at the sight of her, as she insanely ballet dances through the streets. C H A R A C T E R F O R M A T (* Means optional.) Full Name: Xiomara Farrante (Zee-Oh-Mar-Ah) Pseudonym*: Xio (Zee-oh) Age: 17 Race: Human Gender: Female Meister or Weapon: Meister Partner: Raija Biography: Xiomara is a bubbly, outgoing girl from across the country. She's athletic, kindhearted, and brave. She's also quite tomboyish in her demeanor, with little to no knowledge of feminine fashion or makeup. Xiomara is also quite stubborn and rash, and can often react without fully thinking situations through. She's not been at the academy too long, but in that short time, she's made fast friends with her weapon, Raija. The two appear different, but they get along very well, considering. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: Other: Xiomara is obsessed with food, and runs a food blog. She was almost as excited about the idea of the cafeteria at the academy as she was about becoming a meister.

Full Name: Yve (Pronounced Eve) Adair Pseudonym*: Ice Queen Age: 19 Race: Human Gender: Female Meister or Weapon: Meister Partner: Barry Biography: Yve is the last living heiress to a fortune 500 company based off the Eastern coast of America. Since birth, like her other siblings, Yve’s been groomed to potentially take over the company upon coming of age. As a child, Yve was never particularly interested in make up, dress up or playing with dolls. Instead before bed, she begged her nannies to read her stories of Shibusen Academy’s finest and their handling of all the evil in the world. Throughout her life, she’s made it clear to her Father that she’d much rather prefer the life of a warrior combatting evil humans and Kishin, though each time he would remove the sword from her hand and replace it with a pen or even worse, a kitchen knife. On her 16th birthday, she hired a ‘dancing instructor’ whom she met with on a bi-weekly basis. In secret, she would learn how to wield and fight with weapons. Two years later her Father caught her ‘dancing’ with her instructor, mace and dagger in hand. Grounded for a year, he promised. In less than a week Yve gathered enough paper money and supplies to make a trip to her dream school, Shibusen Academy. They welcomed her with open arms after she passed the entrance exam. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: N/A Weapon Form*: N/A Other*: Yve has been at Shibusen for one year. She doesn’t talk to many boys because she’s uninterested in any non-platonic relationships. She spends most of her time in the dojo or dance studio honing her craft. Full Name: Opal Brevil Pseudonym*:Age: 10 Race: Witch Gender: Female Meister or Weapon: Meister? Partner: N/A Biography: During her pregnancy, Opal’s mother was forced to flee the Witch’s Realm fearing the Grand Witch would sentence her to one hundred death sentences. Her crime? Having relations with a human, and a weapon no less. She gave birth in East Nevada, just outside the radar of Shinigami-sama. Using Soul Protect, she was able to hide in plain sight. This allowed her to give her daughter the life she deserved. The Brevil family was small, but they were always happy. Living a relatively human life, Opal’s powers didn’t develop until she was 10 years old. A time usually reserved for joy in young witches, marked the beginning of a terrible ordeal for Opal. Once revealed, bounty hunters from the Witches’ Realm made an appearance. They slaughtered Opal’s father and kidnapped her mother. Opal hid, best she could, until the bounty hunters left. With her options running out, Opal turned to the last person she could trust: a mysterious friend of her father’s. Appearance: Uniform / Costume: N/A Weapon Form*: N/A Other*: Opal is terrified to speak to DWMA and ask for help in fear that she’ll be executed because of her Witch blood.

It was only the third day of the fresh start of the school year and the halls of the academy were crammed. Many bodies scrambled throughout the school, in desperation to find their classes, make it on time, and even get through the crowds. The handful of voices bounced off the high ceilings of the school. At each corner there appeared to be an employee with open arms to assist with any questions. It was an unusual turn out for how many new students would be attending Shibusen. Trotting down the main hallways were the iconic duo, Isabella and Howlington. The male strolled with his hands sunk into the depths of his uniform pants, as his dull-gray hair swept along his face. A significant plate glistened against his chest as it read, "E L I T E." A honor to be presented with one, Howlington showed little compassion for the small piece of gold many worked hard for; seeing as it was surrounded by pins of pop culture. He walked with a distinct sway, as if he were dreading each footstep that was made. Many found it almost impossible to get even a smile from the boy. Beside him, Isabella ran her fingertips through her soft raven curls that were adorned with two "space buns" that sat on the top of her head. Walking with such a bounce, it was almost intimidating, with her dress mimicking the movement of each bounce. Behind them followed a few students who gawked from a distance. With attempts to whisper, it was made almost difficult to not hear comments made. "Look thats Howl Moon, he's so cool!" One cooed in admiration. "I heard her last partner died, that's badass crap right there." A male would huff. "Haven't they just became partners? It's crazy how strong their bond is...I hope I can find something like that!" Another would add. "Are they dating, they'd be sooo cute!" Choosing not to engage, both Howl and Bella were set on arriving to their classroom without any stops.
"Here's our stop, Class Crescent Moon." Announced Isabella as she took the lead to enter into the room first. With first speculation, the homeroom resembled a college classroom as it held long rows of "desks" that curled against different levels with a centered fixation for their instructor. Her dark colored hues glanced around the room as she looked upon her peers. She spotted a few with much potential, others not so much. Taking a seat in the second row in the center of the room, the female took a moment to get herself situated. Bella retrieved both her books, as well as Howl's before her joined beside her. Upon further speculation, the female took note upon the absence of their home room teacher. With some time remaining until class had begun, Isabella decided to not dig too deep into the matter. Howlington pushed his weight forward to balance against the dark stained desk. Suddenly a bell rung, alerting the entire school that the first period had begun. Glancing forward, there still stood no homeroom teacher. Isabella raised an eyebrow as the class was forced to wait puzzled, as chatter had already begun.
A total of thirty five minutes had passed before anew comer barged into the homeroom. He seemed rushed, frantic, and out of order but was quick to apologize for the inconvenience. "Hello!" He greeted quickly as he set a few things down along the front desk. At an attempt to catch his breath, the tall, lanky male took a seat along the edge of the desk. "Hello, I'd like to firstly apologize for the absence of your homeroom teacher. For now, I will be temporarily stepping in." A soft pause was made as he took a deep breath in. "Let's begin with names, I am Hiro Katabana. I was once a student here, sitting in these seats such as you." The male took a quick glance around the room. "Ah, class crescent moon. This was the homeroom of some of the top students that have graduated from Shibusen and went on to do wonderful things. You all are expected to give your best! You wouldn't want to live in the shadows, would you?" Mr. Katabana offered a soft chuckle. Howl took a moment to lean closer to his partner. "Are we just going to pretend like everything is okay?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow. Isabella would give a soft shrug of her shoulders before commenting. "I'm not sure, but I do have to admit this is all so odd." The young teacher stepped forward, "Ah, the one and only Miss Bordeaux. I've heard much about you. Would you like to refresh us on where your homeroom teacher left you off?" The female quickly turned to face whom had addressed her, as she offered a nod of her head. "We we're going over soul resonances." Hiro nodded his head, "Okay class let's all turn to page fifty seven of your textbooks."

447. Yve sunk to the ground, keeping her gaze straight ahead at herself in the mirror before she pushed herself back up. 448. She sunk to the ground again. Her arms were killing her. 449. Today was the first day of school and in a couple hours, she would be sitting in homeroom. Crescent Moon. 450. Yve exhaled deeply before rising to her feet. She first arrived before the Sun rose, alone in the dance studio.
“I’ll become an Elite. Barry will become a Death Scythe,” She spoke softly to herself, a quiet affirmation of things to come. She found that saying things allowed helped cement her goal as attainable. Yve bounded toward the showers to freshen up. By now, the dance studio was loosely filled. Most were upperclassmen who already knew about Shibusen’s facilities. Yve recognized a few were freshman, eager to hone their skills as quickly as possible. It brought a light smile to her face. She was once in their shoes.
A couple hours later, Yve walked the halls of Shibusen toward Crescent Moon homeroom. Though her gaze was cold, she hid a child-like excitement within. As she stepped inside she sat in the third row, the seat two right from the middle. Yve removed her pencil and texts. She placed her backpack on the seat to the left of her, saving it for her partner Barry Blake. Though the homeroom seat was empty, it didn’t bother Yve too much. She was used to being early.
When Isabella and Howl walked in, she smiled lightly and waved. She met the duo last year and had fond memories of them both. Yve had been known for her legendary work ethic: first one to the gym and last one out. She noticed Howlington was the same way and approached him one afternoon. Though she lost the initial skirmish, she didn’t feel disdain. She continually approached him, casually asking for duels and sparring sessions. During this time, she also met his partner Isabella. Without her help, it might’ve taken a hell of a lot longer to notch her first win against Howlington. She cared enough to extend a helping hand and that was good enough in Yve’s book.
After the bell rang, she glanced back at the empty seat. Yve soon began to click her nails against her desk. 35 minutes later, a temp walked in. He explained the situation briskly then diverted the attention with a smile. Hiro Katabana. ’This guy’s good,’ Yve thought, while flipping her pages to Soul Resonance.

Opal swung her little legs on a table stool she was too short to sit on. A knife and fork in hand, she grinned ear to ear. In front of her was a stack of pancakes, two slices of French toast, scrambled eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links. “Thanks Masky,” Opal said before she began scarfing down the breakfast. The duo sat in a little known, family owned breakfast nook a few blocks away from Shibusen Academy. She grabbed the tall glass of Florida and nearly sucked an orange out the straw.
“So whaddya say we do, Masky?” She asked in between bites of bacon. She leaned to her left, closer to Parros and whispered, “are we even safe out in the open like this?” She shoved a whole bacon strip in her mouth as her eyes darted back and forth. “and can we please practice with my powers? Maybe I can help you get my Mom back.”

After a hazy morning, Xiomara strode down the corridors towards her classroom, Raija in tow. She giggled a little, and as they drew up to the classroom door's window, she peeked through it, and gasped.
"Oh, shi....Okay, Raija, I owe you an apology and at least one of those pastry things you like. I completely read the time wrong, we are...well, we're catastrophically late AND I'm definitely higher than I intended to get. How are you..."
Xio broke off as she glanced at Raija's blank face. "Okay, I'm definitely regretting leaving my sandwich AND letting you smoke. I'm worried I broke you, girl." She giggled once more, and held up her hands to Raija. "Look, lemme go in first, I'll straighten things up and then we can just sit and chill. It's only homeroom..."
She turned back towards the classroom door, and the clear mirror-like surface reflected her badge back at her. E.L.I.T.E.
Xiomara caught her reflection in this mirror, and sobered up considerably.
"Get it together, Xio." She muttered to herself. She looked back over her shoulder at Raija, her face tinged with guilt. Why do I do stuff like this? She adjusted Raija's sleeve, absentmindedly, like she'd done a thousand times before, then looked back at the door.
Taking a deep breath, she opened it and strode purposefully into the room, as if all was planned, in time to hear which page they were reading from.
"Ah, yes, page fifty seven, excellent." She spoke magnanimously, wafting at Raija to walk into the classroom. "That page would be about..." She looked behind her to where Yve sat, read the page she was on. "Soul Resonance, of course." She winked at Yve then made her way to her seat, walking with clear purpose, where she pulled a chair out for Raija. "Apologies for our lateness, Mr Katobana. We had some important business.....Elite business... to sort out, lost track of the time. I..uh...heard your name through the door. In case it's weird I know your name." She ended somewhat lamely.
Her eyes met Isabella's, and the nasty sobering feeling from earlier intensified as she remembered Haseo. Ugh, this strain wasn't supposed to be this depressive. She remembered promising Isabella she wouldn't smoke, too. The sobering feeling got worse. Don't stare at her too long, she's smart, she'll work it out. You idiot. She broke her gaze and pulled out her own book, and Raija's, too.
She smiled inanely, and tipped her head forward, and began to pretend to read. Hopefully her blathering had given Raija time to make it to her chair.

After a hazy morning, Raija slowly bumbled down the hallways after Xio, her mouth hanging open and her looking like small slits. The colors popped out to her far vibrantly than she was used to, the hallway seeming to stretch forever. Xio was twice her size, so she stood next to her in blank curiosity as she peeked in the window.
"Oh, shi....Okay, Raija, I owe you an apology and at least one of those pastry things you like. I completely read the time wrong, we are...well, we're catastrophically late AND I'm definitely higher than I intended to get. How are you..."
Raija glanced up slowly looking at Xio's face as her mouth was moving but only heard a loud ringing and her own thoughts.
Raija's face tilted to the left as she entered deeper into her trance, Xio's animated movements engrossing her in the motions. "Mar-mar." She hi-fived her partner when she held her hands up, not knowing what else they were for.
Turning with her partner, she looked into the mirror at her dead face and laughed. "Hahahahaahahaa... We look funny Mar-mar." She laughed more and more, loud enough for the class inside to hear. Rai stopped instantly when Xio turned around though, slightly recognizing the seriousness of the situation, and fighting back more cackles.
Taking a deep breath, she opened it and strode purposefully into the room, as if all was planned, in time to hear which page they were reading from.
Taking a deep breath, Raija puffed her chest out and marched behind Xio, looked to the left and dread overcome her. Frozen in her spot, she saw each individuals eyes shoot towards her, including the teacher. "Ahh-ahhh...." Petrified in fear, Xio's voice broke her stoned movement.
Raija continued her march, this time shakily and scared of the gaze of the many students that were present before her. She stared down, climbing up the stairs one by one, trying not to trip. She rose her right foot purposefully, plopping it to the first stair with purpose. Then slowly lifted the left, gathering her balance for the next step.
30 seconds later, she ascended the 3 steps to get to the seat Xio left for her, turning into her row, but tripping over someone's foot and falling, a stack of papers flying up from someone's desk. Raija popped up quickly, terror on her face. "Ehhh! Ehhhhh! Sorry!" He dusted her dress off and sneezed on the person in front of her. "Ahh! AHHH!! SORRY!!" She scuttled over to her chair and sat down.
After the hustle and bustle settled down, a loud roar was heard from her stomach. "Mar-Mar.... I'm hungry." She said returning to her dead face, plopping her head in the book and beginning to snore.

Parros crossed his arms and leaned against a nearby support beam, staring at the young witch. "Ssshh Young one. Your meal is the only task at hand right now. We shall make more moves when the time is right." Nobody could see it, but his eye twitched as she ate a bacon strip whole. "Please Young one, exercise your manners. You are a lady, after all." Parros finished his food and gave Opal the rest, she's a hungry child with much growing to do. "When you are done let me know, the waitress has been upset at us." 5 plates lay next to hers, scraped and done for. "We must gain favor with her, so she may serve us with excellent service if we were ever to return."
He put a hand on his mask and extended a hand behind him in dramatic pose. "Integrity and cleanliness. Young one."

Barry Blake was having one of his usual days a creature of habit he started his morning routine getting a shower and making himself look as good as possible he was up early the first day was super important after all I can’t look bad on the first day.
After focusing on his personal appearance for a good two hours Barry hair was sorted his skin was sorted heck he smiled in the mirror and he swore he saw a sparkle in his teeth and heard the sound of a small ping just for split second.
He then decided to do what he would always do when he needed to pass time and that was baking, his small and rather dinky looking apartment was one the school had given him to live in while he studied there and now it was filled with the fresh smell of pastries that he had spent the morning preparing and making.
Realizing he was going to be late Barry had quickly gathered his freshly baked goods and put them in a container to take with him placing the container in his book bag he frowned realizing he probably should have had the shower after baking because now he felt like he smelt of his baked goods instead of the lavender scented soaps and shampoo products he used to manage his blonde hair and tanned body.
Dashing out and locking his door in a rush he leave a trail of dust behind him as he set off to the academy he was somewhat worried when he skidded to a halt arriving on the grounds of the academy noticing the lack of students in the area realizing that everyone was probably most definitely in class already he knew he was most certainly definitely late.
Finally getting into the halls and outside his class room he smirk, opening the door to the classroom he would fill the room with the sweet scents of his treats “I apologize about my tardiness but I had to make this happen” He said gesturing to himself before glancing around the classroom and spotting his partner who had left him a space next to her. “I’ll just take a spot next to my sweet honey!” Barry hollered with a twirl he pointed at his wonderful partner flashing a smile and winking at her it was the kind of thing that made brainless gals swoon you know, the kind of gals who only care about style and not substance.
Yve was not one of these gals and that why the two got along finally making his way over and sitting next to her he smirk “I baked you something” He smiled pointing towards his book bag as he pulled out his books. “So what are we studying?” He asked Yve.
