Plot The world was a desolate land until the five gods granted it their gifts. The winged mother granted life to the land so that nature could flourish and the once empty land could have inhabitants.
The wingless daughter a proud warrior provided knowledge to the lands inhabitants. The wingless son granted empathy so no thought would go without emotion. The twins took to the sky resulting in them creating weather that would create oceans and maintain nature their mother had created.
Once they had created this world the sixth and final god appeared but unlike the other five who wished to create this one wished to destroy. The five gods defeated this evil being and sealing his power away but not before a curse was placed.
“You think this is over we been playing this game for a long time. It doesn’t matter how many times you seal me away because a comet will come and that will be a sign of my return and when I am finally bored of this world all of it will burn just so I can spark a reaction out of you five!” The gods created five idols to seal away their power knowing that they would not be around to use them. The idols once broken would grant the power of the gods to mortals.
That was the tales of this worlds creation at least one of the many tales of how this world started. No one knowing which one held any truth at least that was until a week ago when a comet was sighted.
A panic has now occurred and all races have decided to try and harvest the power of the gods. Granted finding the idols may not be the only dangers in this world as politics and other troubles plague this land.
The Races Humans – Considered rather generic humans come in all shapes and sizes some are strong some are weak. They possess the ability to use magic is not as strong as the elves but they can get by with effort. Humans had to find ways to adapt so they ended up inventing fire arms and becoming somewhat a jack of all trades. Due to their close relationship with the elves the two races are used to dealing with each other and though they do squabble every now and then they are quick to defend one another. Blessed by the god known as the Winged Mother the humans possess the ability known as Mothers Feather which lets them mark a point and warp to it at will.
Elves – Agile and acrobatic the elf is always fast on their feet and quick witted. Most elves use magic and very peaceful beings but get on the wrong side of one and it never usually ends well. Some are sophisticated some aren't but one thing is for sure they all got some form of ego. Elves excel at whatever they put their mind to but they are creatures of habit. Not all Elves like to use magic some tend to excel at stealth being capable hunter’s thieves and spies just because they aren’t using their smarts to learn magic doesn’t mean those smarts aren’t being used. Blessed by the god known as the Wingless Son the Elves have the ability to activate Vision an ability that lets them see into the future. Beast Men – Beastmen are physically strong agile and dangerous beings possessing all the senses and traits of beasts. The appearances can differ depending on bloodlines some can even pass for human showing no physical signs of being part beasts that is until they enter combat and have to use their enhance strength agility skills and other beast traits. All beast men possess skills from the beast their bloodline is based on some can even fly because they possess wings. The tribes have resided in the dessert for a long time it’s a harsh way of life for most Beast men but it’s one they find honourable. Blessed by the goddess known as the wingless daughter Beastsmen possess the roar ability allowing them establish a bond with a nearby animal causing it to aid them.
Sire – A race of fishmen and fishwemon who are very shady originally from the sea they have been exiled to land and now reside in the dessert. They are responsible for setting up the Oasis’s making them rather wealthy. The men are mighty warriors who enjoy breaking their opponents down they however are not brutes but a mob or better yet a family. Possessing the ability to manipulate waters form for combat they know how to fight. Their secret weapon however is the ability to create highly addictive nectar that causes euphoria in those that ingest it. This and some wise words has allowed them to begin transforming savage and proud beast men into loyal enforcers who are only eager to please the family. Blessed by the two gods known as the Twins the Sire race can freeze and boil water at will.
Mechmen – Organic beings that have been changed by technology of the scrap capital. These beings are shunned and hated by all forcing them reside in the scrap capital. Their advance technology and augmentations comes in handy for battle after all a lot of augmented limbs can be actual weapons. The reason no one wants them around is their unique ability to hack into organic beings through physical contact allowing the Mechman to experience the victims memories and share them with others. They may have metal parts but they are still squishy and easy to wound if you know which parts aren’t metal. Mechmen are not blessed by the gods but instead blessed by a being known as the creator granting them the Hive ability allowing them to share information with other Mechmen who could be miles away.

Name: Raija Age: 21 Race: Human Looks: Abilities/Talents: Deadly precision, Freerun mastery, Expert swordsmanship Weapons: Sword on her back, Masamune. family heirloom. Rumor that it can drive an undisciplined user insane. Throwing knives, she can also bind her "feathers" to her daggers and use them as mobile teleportation spots. Bio: Raija grew up in the church with both her parents in Quill Town. Her particular denomination treats the Winged Mother as the most high, not only because she created all human life but also blessed her kind with the power of her Feathers. Although Quill Town needs to defend itself from the occasional Sire/Mechman attacks, Raija believes nonviolence is the first step in solving an issue. She renounced the human firearms, and sticks to basic hunting tools for most combat. She keeps a calm head about her, and loves to have fun and relax. Raija's religious piety is generational. From long before her they've lived peaceful lives of non-violence. Faithful to the church since birth, she only used weapons to hunt and carve. She walked away from any altercations growing up, choosing to "turn the other cheek" in many situations. For a majority of her life she hadn't had one she can called 'friend', she just went to church, school, did her hunting errands and went home. She also helped out with chores around the house when she wasn't hunting. It wasn't until she shared her prey with another elf that was out hunting that she made her first real friend. As the two grew, their bond did as well but they had one key difference. Her elven friend wished to fight against the Sire and mechmen, while she decided to stay true to her familial practice of pacifism. One day, word got back to her that her friend died during the fight. Guilt struck her, only thinking that if she was there to help, he could've been saved. Taking action, she decided to use her skills to hunt the idols, and to bring peace to the nation once more so that no more death would be among the land. She took up the family heirloom, Masamune, which is said to have been crafted in ancient times and imbued with a certain mythical beast. It had not previously been used as a weapon, but as a center of prayer. Nonetheless, Raija knew of the legend surrounding it, and took it up in arms for her battle. Said to serve only the pure of heart, Masamune, when unsheathed, grants the user immense power at the expense of their energy and blood. Other(Fun facts?): Masamune, the peacekeeper, is in her possession. In the right user's hands, it's said to end wars. She has a prayer ritual every morning, night, beginning of hunt, and end of hunt.

Name: Sukob Guerra Age: 26
Race: Beastman (Leopard) Appearance: Abilities/Talents: Assassin-like speed and agility. Beast Men enhanced strength and advanced healing factor. Weapons: Claws and Teeth
Biography: Sukob grew up the eldest in a litter of four cubs, to the head of the Guerra tribe of Beast Men. The Guerra's were an influential Assassin tribe living in the Dead Woods. Growing up in the League was rough, what with the early morning training regiments and the 40 day excursions with your litter pack. It molded him mentally, instilling a powerful credence in the young Sukob: "power accomplishes all." Physically, as such with all of the other Assassins, Sukob's strength, speed and agility grew exponentially. As Sukob and his siblings grew into adult Beast Men they came to notice the subtle powershift occurring in the Desert. The Sire were gaining control of Beast Men territory without bloodshed. They were willingly handing it over. After returning from a hunt one day, Sukob's father and the other hunters held a certain glossiness in their eyes. Soon, the Guerra's began hunting and training less. They started meeting with the Sire, initially in Sire territory and finally in Guerra territory. Sukob's mother voiced her unpopular opinion and was harshly silenced. Left to rot in the desert by the Sire, Sukob found her body being chewed by desert rats. Strike #1. Racing home to bring the news to his father, he found him strung out on Nectar unwilling to lift a paw against the Sire. Most if not all the males in the tribe were as well. Strike #2. During her funeral procession, the Sire Don responsible for her death showed up to "pay his respects" to the dearly departed. He delivered a powerful eulogy speech in which he implicated himself in her death, mocked her life, then promised Sukob's father could now finally lead the Guerra Assassin's to new heights. Sukob's father vehemently agreed, relinquishing power of the Guerra Assassins to the Don himself. He bowed on his knees and kissed the Sire's ring, sealing the deal. Strike #3. After that day, Sukob left the Guerra territory and began wandering the world in search of answers and power. Upon watching the comet pass, Sukob has joined the search for the idols to harness the power of the gods and wage war against the Sire. Other(Fun facts?): Sukob has been wandering around the world for four years, after the death of his mother. He's seen most places that Beast Men are tolerated. At the beginning of his journey, he exclusively slept in Sire territory hunting them out of spite and hatred. After nearly losing his life, he ventured away to let the heat die down. Finding danger in every path, Sukob almost lost his life to insanity while accidentally stepping foot in the Whispering Woods. The spirits continually haunted him about the death of his mother and folly of his father. A pigeon, whom he's come to name Salam, managed to quell his rage and lead him out of the forest. Wherever Sukob goes, he leaves a trail of murder and blood. He prefers to feed on other people, which most places don't take kindly too. The prowess of the hunt is what excites him most. Human is his favorite meat, followed by Elf then Sire.

Name: Mizzix Age: 19 Race: Mechman Looks: Abilities/Talents: Fast reaction times and speedy run, thanks to cybernetic limbs, inventive genius Weapons: Explosives, electronic traps Bio: Mizzix is one of the many renegades who live near the scrap metal city, salvaging useful pieces to build upon himself. Saved from the brink of death by a fellow renegade, Mizzix is an orphan with a previously weak constitution, which he has built upon by augmenting his own body. He likes nothing more than to fix machinery and invent new things using what he can salvage, but his biggest pet project is himself. After some time of being a mechman, and learning what it was like to be reviled for being both machine and man, and welcome in the company of neither, Mizzix held an affinity for the Creator, a presence he felt almost like a parent. Sometimes he believes he is being directed by the Creator with "signs", but he cannot be sure. His keen sense for logic tells him that must surely be impossible. His goal in life is to simply survive, but seeing innocent renegades being killed for being who they are, he feels drawn to the idea of trying to broker peace between his adopted people and those who see them as abominations. After all, all mechmen were other races once. He heard whispers of the idols and knew he had to set out into the world and see what he could find, and if he could change the fate of his cursed people. Other(Fun facts?): Mizzix is cool and collected, and when it comes to machinery, can talk for hours and hours, but finds emotional topics and other kinds of socializing hard to do, having lived a hard life where there was hardly time to talk. Name: Eideara Monsoon, 2nd of Her Name Among The Clan Summerhaze Age: 22 Race: Sire Looks: Abilities/Talents: Can control the plants she grows on her body using her water manipulation powers, water manipulation powers with temperature control. Weapons: Water control, plantlife control Bio: A socialite comfortable among the palaces and courtyards that line Oasis, home to the shifty Sire race, known for Nectar production and their own hierarchy of elite. Eideara is far, far, far from the highest parts of the family, like many of the Sire clan, but she mingles with the upper crust of her society, being invited to many of the constant soirees and parties that the Sire throw to demonstrate their extravagant wealth. A born manipulator, Eideara gets her power from learning the best business secrets, and using them to turn a profit. In Oasis, if you're a Sire, its who you know, and how many you know, and money speaks loudest. Seeing the hate to her people, however, she realized that some of their business practices aren't harmless, and that others are getting hurt, and some Sire are beginning to rebel against the upper classes, and want out of the family itself. She needs to make some decisions about who she really is, and what side she's really on. Other(Fun facts?): Eideara usually makes splashes at parties because she wears live plants, which she grows on her body using her water manipulation powers. She says this is because she likes to dress the most extravagantly- which is a handy way to compete with the fashions of the Sire- but this is actually because she has a very keen interest in the environment, and the city of Oasis is almost devoid of plantlife, soon to become a marble oblivion. She's fun to be around, a party girl with a sparkling wit, but hides a pessimistic nature.

Name: Arch Iver (Archiver) Age: 23 in present day Race: Disconnected Mechmen Looks: Abilities/Talents: Augmented Blood - His body is able to repair itself at an extremely high rate using nanomachines that repair and rebuild him from the inside out. He would bleed like a human but all would find that his body regenerates completely within a few minutes for minor wounds while lost limbs and other things like that will take a day or two to regain full function with a patch being generated to stop the blood flow while he awaits for a time to be able to repair himself his body limbs able to be reattached and restored. If his brain is severely damaged or disconnected from his body then he'll die. (Advanced Level Healing Factor) Face Shift - Arch can change his facial features like eye color and scars adding and removing various ones to make him unrecognizable. Only a good look at his hands would tell people that he's not human Sampled Data - Arch seems to have his own archive that stores information on various things. Triggered by someone connecting to his hands either in a handshake, hug or other contact that uses his hands while in their connect mode. Arch can sample someone memories and learn various things that the person knows. The longer the connection the more he can copy. Weapon: Hands of the Archiver - Arch's hands seem to be flesh and blood but if one was to look close enough they would see that they are real looking prosthetics that have what appear to be circuits running along the palm and underside of the wrist and disappear into the lower arm. They function like normal hands but have three additional modes, Taser, Connect, and Medical. Taser Mode = The hands function as Tasers with probes being able to be shot out of his wrists or making direct contact with the palm of his hand sending a charge through someone using a direct "conduction" attack sending electrical current through his opponents Connect Mode = This mode also seem to use his palms but instead of shocking someone. He uses the connection to absorb soul data, similar if not the same as normal mechmen. Most of the time this is his passive mode when he's outside of battle. Medical Mode = In this mode his hands function as surgical tools, being able to have his fingers deploy small surgery instruments including a adjustable laser beam from his index finger that at maximum strength can cut through most things (polished metal and glass being able to deflect it) and two injection probes that can transmit some of Archiver's nanomachine blood into his victim to aid in their own body healing and regeneration and also a medical scanner to be able to analyze injuries and symptoms and that can relay various diagnoses Bio: Archiver is a disconnected mechman. His connection to the hive mind was severed by an unknown means. He's not fully sure how he was disconnected but he takes this disconnection to work out his own path of finding answers to every question he's presented with. His first set of memories after being disconnected was of Quill Town. When he first arrived many thought he was just a mysterious human traveler. Arch was generally friendly and soon people started getting used to him being around town. After a few friendly handshakes and other contact, Arch gained enough information to be able to function as a handyman/laborer around town quickly becoming respected for his building skills able to help build and repair things that were damaged and he was completely friendly with all he encountered. He would develop a friendship with a young child named Vent who idolized Arch and did whatever he could to help Arch with his work be it grab tools, get food or even just hang out and talk with Arch who found the boy's interaction with him quite amusing. However an accident would occur that would injure Vent almost to the point of death as the boy would fall from a height and hit the ground hard and crack his skull. Various medics from the church did what they could to heal the boy using magic but Vent would not recover and it was said that it would be only a matter of time before he would die. Arch feeling worthless on being unable to help his friend sent out a prayer asking for knowledge on how to heal his friend. His prayer would be answered as somehow the response would unlock Arch's medical mode and have him gain knowledge that he has things in his blood that could help save his friend all he had to do was inject his blood into the boy and work on fixing the broken area on Vent's head as information showed that the healers had only focused on the surface wound not the cracked skull. Arch asked Vent's parents if he could try something he picked up but would need privacy and space to do this work. The parents would allow it and Arch would take the boy into a back room and perform a life saving surgery part of which would inject some of Arch's own blood into the boy's bloodstream to aid in the repair of the damage and save the boy's life. Vent would wake up a few hours after the surgery and recover without compilations within the next few days and the boy's parents were overjoyed and grateful to Arch for saving their son when the father asked Arch about how he did it. Arch managed to spin a story about how he prayed and the knowledge coming to him. However some of the more extremist would get suspicious of Arch's prayer and sudden gain of healing abilities and one day while he was working in a religious building someone 'accidentally' hit Arch in the face with a hand pick like tool nearly taking out his eye. To Arch's and the others horror, Arch started regenerating patching his face and recovering it. Arch realized that his healing blood was actually because he was augmented and a mechman with his main augmentation being his augmented blood through things called Nanomachines, super tiny machines that without a scanning device wouldn't be seen. These machines worked in sync with his brain, body, and with bio-material that Arch consumed and through them repaired and regenerated damaged tissue restoring it at an inhuman pace. This would cause a panic to engulf the town as mechmen were feared as inhuman monsters who fed off of humans memories sucking their very knowledge out of heads. The extremist took advantage of this panic and attempted to have Arch publicly tried and executed. At his trail many 'witnesses' came up with lies and other stories to try and convince the judge to execute him. On the witness stand Arch would ask various people about what he did for the town and them and asked if they could look past what Arch was and see who he is would they still be afraid of him and execute him because of that fear? Many that knew who Arch was, stood up for him calling the stories told lies and one even came up and admitted that the whole accident against Arch was done on purpose to see what he was because those church people were jealous that Arch saved a life they couldn't with their magical powers. Vent's parents even stood up for Arch and told the court that if Arch was such an evil monster then why would he save their son. The judge being a fair and honest man judged that while Arch may have not committed the crimes he was accused of it was best that he leave the town to ensure the peace between people. Arch agreed with the judge sensing growing tensions between what was taught and what was the truth and accepted his 'punishment' and started packing up that night to leave in the morning. He was escorted to the border of the town by a crowd of people many of who were once his friends. Arch would thank the people for standing up for him and that he had been honored to know them. He would go to leave however Vent would run over to him and cling to him begging him not to go. Arch touched by boy's devotion to him promised Vent that he would find a way to always be with him. That way would materialize as Arch's injected nanomachine blood started lightly augmenting Vent giving him a mental link to Arch and one day both Vent and Arch were surprised when the two could communicate by a seemingly telepathic linkage. They kept this link hidden and Vent learned that Arch would periodically sneak into town as a traveler shifting his face while he hid out in the nearby forest. The two would rekindle their friendship and no one was wiser. However as the comet appeared and panic engulfed the town and Vent would pickup ideas that people were looking into harvesting the gods power through the idols and talked with Arch about his thoughts and Arch's only thoughts were those with power will abuse that power and that power of gods was not for any mortal. Other(Fun facts?): Despite all the hatred, Arch has no real grudges against anyone playing off any verbal threat as just white noise but mess with his friends or purposely try to start something with Arch and you'll find yourself up against someone just willing to mess with you. Arch will always fight his battles at a distance using his surgical laser as a weapon to deter most people and if that doesn't work his tasers always seem to give people enough jolts to disable them. Also other mechmen and machines connected to the hive will consider Arch as an opponent. Name: Vent Torlar Age: 17, 9 in Arch's story Race: Elf Looks: Abilities/Talents: Second Opinion/Second View: Through his telepathic link with Arch, Vent can call Arch up and rely information mentally even allowing Arch to receive what data Vent was receiving from around him and vise-versa to rely what his thoughts are. Often the two come to a general agreement on ideas and often communicate without speaking aloud. This can also give the two various views in battle allowing one's blindspot or back to be covered by the other's vision if properly setup. Sneaky little devil: Vent has an aptitude for Stealth and speed able to sneak around and be hidden. Tricky Magic: Vent can access basic magic to create illusions and other tricky effects that disorient opponents. Weapon: Bow and Arrow, Hunting Knife Bio: Vent is a Elf boy from Quill Town, born and raised. He had loving devoted parents but was rather shy around others that was until he met Arch. Something about the traveler's friendly nature and helpful attitude just attracted Vent and he always wanted to be around him. Vent and Arch would forge a friendship that would last until the accident. Vent isn't completely sure what happened as he was blacked out but Arch would later relay that he had fallen from a height and landed on his head almost dying but Arch saved him. Vent wouldn't be sure what would go on after that all he knew is that many were angry at Arch and Vent blamed himself as they weren't angry before he had his fall. His Parents tried to explain that it wasn't because of what he or Arch did but something else. Vent wouldn't be able to understand and when he heard Arch was leaving, he didn't want Arch to leave but Arch did. Vent would revert back to his shy lonely self and it wasn't until one day when Arch's voice would mysteriously come to him that he would be able to come out of that hole when the two realized that the connection was able to have them communicate with each other. Arch would explain to Vent as he got older that Arch wasn't human but a mechman and that his healing of Vent had used 'unnatural' methods and that's what made everyone upset and forced him to leave but Arch would make trips into town under various disguises to gather current information. The two rekindled their friendship and Vent promised to be a spy for Arch giving him information inside places that he wouldn't be able to get and that is how Vent and Arch learned of the idol hunts and other things. They weren't fully sure how they were going to proceed but that is why they say patience is a virtue.

CC Format Name: Saleme Speyers Age: 22 (appears) Race: Human Looks: Abilities/Talents: Marksmenship – Saleme is surprisingly good when it comes to his aim rarely missing his target when it comes to range weapons. Enchantment – Saleme is an experience magic user allowing him to channel his magic energy into his arrows and fist. Weapons: Bow and Arrows he enchants. Bio: Saleme has been bound to the royal library by both bloodlines of the royal family for as long as he can remember. When the comet came Saleme realized exactly what was about to happen capable of seeing it from the windows of the library he used that moment to escape seeing that the castles guards were distracted by the celestial event. He could channel enough magic to break the seal to his chambers. Saleme cannot remember ever being outside the library before resulting in almost everything appearing to be new to him. Granted he has read about a lot of places and wrote a lot of notes over the years so he is familiar with the races but he cannot ever remember seeing one that wasn’t a human or elf. Having managed to escape from the castle and Quill Town he has managed to get himself lost wandering the countryside while trying to avoid any guards and their out posts. ~ Fields Outside Quill Town Wandering the grassy fields on a moonlit night a young man was stood beneath a tall tree. “Okay, I can handle this” he mumbled to himself. “First time being outside the castle and I haven’t got myself killed” he mumbled again this time realizing he was talking to himself he promised himself not to do it again. He would get up and begin carrying along his path full of confidence granted one thing bothered him and that was getting this bloody chocker of his neck. The peaceful stroll however did not stay peaceful. “Put me down!” Saleme snapped from over a guards shoulder, seemed the castle had sent some troops after him. “Oh if I could use my magic right now you all be impaled!” He snapped glaring at one of the guards that were holding his bow.

An inflated ball flew above the tall grass as a slender Elf jumped into the air and head butt it back toward his stocky Human companion. Both seemed no older than fifteen years though with Elves, Sukob knew not to assume. They were blessed with near immortality, living way longer than most other races.
"Leomaer," Irvam the Human called out to his friend. He stopped the ball with his chest and let it roll onto the ground.
The Elf turned his attention to Irvam, a sly grin on his face. "What? Don't tell me you're ready to go home already?" Leomaer teased, pulling the skin under his eye down.
Irvam crossed his arms and pouted. "I'm not a baby, I'm not scared!" He retorted quickly, though his wavering voice betrayed his statement.
Leomaer laughed at his friend and clapped him on the back. "Worry not friend, for the mighty Leomaer is here!" He cried, topping it off with a heroic pose.
Unbeknownst to the two youths, Sukob skulked around the tall grass. In the moonlight, his eyes glowed a sinister yellow. He was never terribly far from the two having caught glimpse of his potential meal as soon as they ran off from Quill Town. "Youth. So full of energy and hope. They never see it coming..." Sukob thought. He was on all fours, his stomach practically running against the earth floor. Slowly, he inched toward Irvam since he had a particularly liking toward Human meat.
Leo's ears twitched causing him to snap his head to the left toward Sukob's general direction. Immediately, the leopard man stopped in his tracks. He didn't even exhale, essentially becoming one with the night. In the distance both Leo and Sukob could hear people approaching.
At first sight, Leo and Irvam could see Saleme wandering on his lonesome. Unaware of who he was, they immediately took refuge behind a nearby oak tree. Leomaer held his finger to his lips to ensure Irvam would stay quiet until Saleme passed and they could resume playing. Unfortunately for the pair, Saleme brought unexpected baggage in the form of Quill Town royal guards. At the sight of the men in blue, both kids immediately turned tail and ran away.
Sukob emit a low growl of annoyance as he watched Irvam slip away. The further the boys reached the higher Sukob's anger piled. Glaring at the pair of guards and Saleme, he decided they would become his meal instead. Stalking the tall grass once more, Sukob began to place himself in the perfect position for an ambush.

A small circular pendant dangled from the blue, cloth-wrapped sheath, hands clasped around the hilt of the blade. "Winged Mother, strengthen me. For this hunt may be my last..." A small prayer moved the grass around her, aided by the small gusts typical of the grasslands around Quill Town. "... May this be a successful hunt. For the prosperity of our kind." The blade was lifted by a gentle hand and dragged to its holding place upon her back. With a small bow, the huntress clasped her hands together once more. "Praise." With hands on her daggers that sat comfortably on her lower leg, she creeped around the grasslands, listening closely for any prey.
Giggles and jokes reached her ears, the children of Quill Town seemed to be out late today. She smiled as one made a joke of another, a small giggle escaping her own lips. Redirecting her attention, she saw one man being carried off. Breathing lowly, she looked back to the kids. The children were her first priority, she'd rather starve another day than be witness to a young soul delivered to the Winged Mother. Keeping her eyes on the children, they began to hide and run. Simultaneously, a rustle was seen in the grass near them. Her eyes fixed on the rustle, potential prey in her eyes. She waited patiently, a small glowing feather attaching itself to the dagger in hand. In the off-hand, another feather fell to the floor. When she deemed right, she'd pounce on her hunt. Sitting low to the floor, she waited.
