Darkness. For two days, that was all he could think of. That the world had been plunged into darkness. They had displeased the Gods somehow, and now, everything might possibly be coming to an end. Larry spent the whole first day of Ewige Mond is prayer with his father. Normally, Larry wasn't much one to put so much into prayer, he felt that the Gods could always hear them, so long as they were genuine. But it made his father feel better, plus, he didn't know what to think anymore. Maybe he had been wrong.
On the second day, he spent his time running back and forth between the districts, gathering whatever info from the townsfolk that he could. Businesses and the like were all shut down, the larger facilities on lockdown. Some people felt that they did not praise the Gods enough. Others felt that they relied on them too much. Some didn't read much into the situation, feeling that the Gods were taking a break or were just messing with the populace. A cruel joke, as the economy was sure to suffer, especially farmers' crops. He decided he would aid them however he could if they made it out of this in one piece.
The third day was more or less the same as the first two, except there were more people out and about. His father had settled into a somewhat depressed state, so Larry didn't go out exploring again, just stayed home to take care of his dad, who didn't speak the entire day. They both went to bed without a word. However, it was his father's voice that woke him up the next morning. "Lawrence! It's back! The sun is back! Larry stirred for a moment, before sitting up with a start, stifling a yawn. "Really? Is it over?" he said as he climbed out of bed, approaching the window and listening to the excited chatter in the streets. Everyone seemed so happy, however, Larry couldn't help the ominous feeling he had. Even if things were back to normal, no one knew just what caused this. Or if it was simply the calm before the storm.

Outside was nothing but moon speckled darkness, but at least it was not the kind of utter blackness that swallowed a person whole, it was instead a shadowy world painted in grey-scale. Unable to sleep during the latter half of Ewige Mond, Deandre prowled through the Scenic district. Moonlight poured from the sky like the milk of a god that required no sustenance. It draped over the orchids and fields, adding a grey hue to the once vibrant green garden. Deandre bent low to the earth, examining the wilted flowers. He pushed out a heavy sigh, “You used to love these flowers… I’m worried for our city. For our children. For our families and friends.”
Deandre rose to his feet once again and walked toward a bench. An air of melancholy surrounded him as he whistled a long lost tune from his childhood and sat down. He smirked to himself, even offering up a light chuckle. “Truthfully, since you’ve left I can’t tell most days apart. At least this way, you’re only gone for one long night…” He admitted, slowly drifting into a deep sleep.
“Hey~ Wake up, Gramps, wake up,” a young girl said, shaking Deandre gently.
Her companion, a young boy shook Deandre too. “Yeah, wake up! Dawn lifted the sun back up!”
Before he opened his eyes, Deandre could feel the sun’s rays warming his body. He could also hear the hustling of Sariyah residents in the Scenic district. He smiled lightly at the children, “I must have fallen asleep outside. If you didn’t wake me in time, I would’ve gotten crispy.” Rising to his feet, he rustled the children’s hair. “Off you go now, go play in the fields.” As they scampered off, Deandre made his way from the Scenic district toward the Bazaar. The whole town was trying to get back into the thick of things. On his way, he heard the constant beckon of self-proclaimed preachers.
“The Gods are displeased with our actions! Come sir, come repent and offer up the finest tributes you can! Who knows when Dusk & Dawn will remove themselves from our lives again?”
Deandre eyed him briefly, his words triggering a memory reflex. The castle with the moon high in the sky above it and a flash of people. It seemed like a dream, but Deandre just attributed it to old age. With a dismissive wave of his hand, Deandre continued on through the Middle Class Residential District and down the wide stairs into the Bazaar.
Thicker than he’s ever seen it, Deandre trudged through the people moving every which way. If one were to look from the palace, they’d likely assume people were mere roaches scurrying after the light flickered on. “Handyman services, handyman services! I fix walls, doors, lamps, and more! Is anyone in need of handyman services?!” He called, making his way through the busy marketplace. He offered pleasant smiles to all and lingering looks to those who seemed interested. Feeling a warm sensation grace his back, Deandre turned around. People were moving quickly in the street, none of them paying attention to the elderly man. On the other side, he could see Daro and his shop. Deandre shrugged, “it was probably nothing..”

Two days of darkness how drab Syrus missed his time at his former home after all at least it had delicious food and servants to talk too. The first day had gone rather fast manly due to Syrus being inside the local tavern spending his father’s money well what was left of the cash he had. The second day had gone by much slower with Syrus head was killing him from all his drinking. He was thankful the sky was dark because daylight would have been an irritation and not the fun painful kind like his headache was.
The third day was rather odd because everyone was back to being happy that the sky was blue again and the sun was shining. Syrus on the other hand could only frown being more concerned about the lack of cash he had at the moment. “I wonder if I prayed to the gods would lightning strike me. I wonder would that be enjoyable?” he questioned aloud wandering around the distract somewhat with nothing to do he was the ultimate time waster at this moment in time.

Cory would wake up with a start as a pounding was heard on his door. He had just been dreaming about some weird stuff but he really couldn't make sense out of it.
Cory would groan "what a weird dream..." he muttered
The pounding was heard again
"alright Alright, I'm coming jeeze!" Cory shouted then exhaled. "Dusk and Dawn stop pounding." He opened the door "What?!"
"CORY!" A excited female voice shouted as a blond haired young woman literally glomped him.
Cory sighed "Evelyn..." he moaned "what's got you all excited."
Evelyn pulled back and gave him a surprised look "uh hello look outside. It's Sunny!"
Cory blinked "huh?" He looked outside and indeed it was sunny "oh hey the sun finally came up..." he muttered as if the sun being out wasn't a big deal "what else is new"
Evelyn blinked "what else is new?!" She shouted "where have you been for the last three days."
Cory hummed "uh... I think sleeping for at least half of it... Why what's up"
Evelyn groaned "you're not catching on to that something big has happened."
Cory hummed "uh no not really."
Evelyn groaned as she rolled her eyes "Cory listen the sun hasn't risen until now for the past three days. That's 72 hours of straight nighttime."
Cory hummed "really, and I thought I was just sleeping through the day."
Evelyn rolled her eyes "you haven't wondered why anyone bugged you for the last couple of days."
"uh not really." Cory stated "I was actually enjoying the peace and quiet."
Evelyn groaned "Cory the end of the world could be coming and you're still just coasting through life."
Cory chuckled "come on Evelyn, three days of darkness isn't the end of the world."
Evelyn gave him a look "well a lot of people are saying it is..." She countered
Cory sighed "that's overreaction, Evelyn take what I always say. Stay Calm, don't panic, it's not that big of a deal. So Dawn forgot to bring up the sun for three days that shows he might be more human then a lot believe and I'm sure Dusk didn't mind the extra night time."
Evelyn sighed "you've always liked Dusk haven't you."
Cory chuckled "hey she's a beautiful and graceful woman and if it's anything I like to worship. It's the beauty and grace of a woman. I often dream of her after I see her at various events and dream that when I smile at her she smiles back and thing just go from there."
Evelyn made a put off noise "well I can see I wasted my worry on a guy who can't see someone who truly cares about him." She turned on her heels "have fun with your fantasies Cory." She hissed then walked out and slammed the door
Cory blinked then rubbed his head "yeeesh what's her problem?"

Daro instructed Raija on where to put what, what to replace and what to bring to the front. He also dusted, polished, and arranged stocks himself, trying to get Daro's General Store back in tip top shape. His store sold an assortment of items, from grocery to clothing accessories, hand picked and crafted from the best of the best. To everyone that passed by, Daro waved and smiled, making conversation with anyone that passed. Initially, Daro's shop didn't do so well due to Daro's stature. He towers over most citizens of Sariyah with an imposing voice that booms with every syllable. Huge muscles and overbearing amounts of facial hair scared people off. But as time passed, people started to love Daro as the gentle giant he is.
"Ah, Daro, is it? You probably won't remember me, it's been so long since I frequented this market, but your taste in antiquities was always exquisite. Tell me, do you happen to still sell ornate hair adornments?"
Daro looked up as Farah approached him. He smiled, bending on one knee if front of her, pulling her sleeve back and delivering a delicate kiss to her hand. "Of course I remember you Lady Farah, one as stunning as you will forever be etched into my memory." He stood up and put his hand on the desk. Raija looked up, wiping sweat off her forehead. She had been lifting some boxes, but she felt especially warm today. Maybe she was overreacting since she hadn't seen the sun for a while. "Hmm. Hair Accessories? Ahh yes. Right here." She pointed out a section of color assorted, hand-made hair clips, pins, and combs made from various sea-stones imported in. Raija looked at Farah with a gentle smile, her forehead sweating a little more profusely. This woman's face looked familiar, but she couldn't put a time nor place to it. "Your beauty must really radiate to others. I'm sweating bullets." She said with a small chuckle. "What can I get for ya?"

Name: Eren Yagura. Age: 13. Looks: Power: Eren was given a special ability unlike no others. With a single touch, he is able to completely mimic the users ability and use it as his own. He is only allowed to use one ability at a time, attempting to do so cause his body to shut down as he cannot handle such power. Bio: Growing up, Eren was made up to be an extremely spoiled child. His parents believed they would never have a family, making their first and only born a miracle in their eyes. They gave him the life every child dreamt of, extending their limits to ensure their child is happy. But, it seemed nearly impossible to crack a smile from the young boys face. They have never heard a giggle, seen a smile, or heard the words I love you. Eren is a complex character who appears dissatisfied with life. Despite living in the prestigious upper class, surrounded by many who desire to be friend him desperately, the boy always wanted more in life. It was like all he seen was black and white in a colorful world. No one could ever crack him, or get through to him after many attempts and even from professional hands. Overall, he is just a strange child who has a lot of growing up to do. Sin: Gluttony. Other: His thirteenth birthday landed during the first night of Ewige Mond.

Farah flushed with happiness as Daro kissed her hand. It was flattering to feel so complimented. The feeling turned sour as she realised that a kiss on the hand from a distant acquaintance was the only intimacy she'd had for a long while.
The feeling turned sourer still as she imagined Godric's intimacy with his woman. The back of her head began to itch. She blinked hard and smiled wide for Daro.
"Such kindness, ever the gentleman- and an excellent salesman." She demurred, lowering her sleeve over her hand once more, and casting an eye over his wares. They were exquisite, but a new idea was forming in her head.
The red haired girl looked over, and it was as if the clouds had parted further, leaving Farah in a sunbeam. There was a warmth in the air. She shifted uncomfortably in her clothes a moment, she'd not dressed for this climate.
"You're a kind girl to say so, but I feel the warmth as well. Seems as if Dawn has decided to bless us with the gifts of the sun...especially after such a drought of light."
Looking closely at the girl, Farah felt as though she was familiar in some way, but couldn't place her. There was no mistaking the red hair, and Farah didn't know a soul with such a hair colour.
"You're rather beautiful yourself, child. Such distinctive hair. You must be the envy of all the young ladies in town, no tincture can truly capture that exact shade." She smiled warmly, absent-mindedly pushing a hairpin back into her head, subtly scratching the itchy spot. It hit something hard. Farah put it down to a another wayward hair adornment.
"I hope you can help me....select a gift. A dear, dear....friend, is pregnant, and I'd love to surprise her....with a present. She's young, and pretty...like you. Which one do you think is best?"

After a short time to get himself cleaned up, Larry was all ready to head out the door once he was dressed. His father had already gone out to check around and help those who needed it, that was the kind of man he was. Meanwhile, Larry was nust simply concerned on seeing what else he could find out about current events. The best place to learn info from people? The Bazaar, the bustling marketplace of Sariyah.
Grabbing himself a clean shirt, he headed into the bathroom to make sure he'd cleaned everything. Glancing in the mirror, that was when he saw it. A crescent moon tattooed on the left side of his chest in black ink. "The heck? I didn't get a tattoo last night......" he muttered, rubbing at it. The skin wasn't raised, so it wasn't a tattoo. "The hell is that.....? Ugh, I'll figure it out later," he grumbled, putting on his shirt and heading out.
As he made his way through the district toward the Bazaar, he slipped his hands into his pockets, losing himself to his thoughts. He had a strange feeling the whole time he walked, and it wasn't that sinking feeling in the back of his mind. More like, the faintest tingling sensation all over his body. And the more people he walked past, the more noticeable it became to him. Like a growing sensation of adrenaline. He dismissed it as he made it to the Bazaar, even though now it just seemed to get worse.
"I could probably start by getting some supplies for the house," he thought aloud. "I'll stop by Daro's. He probably knows a few things about what's going on, too." Larry picked up his pace a little, by now he felt more energetic than before, he almost had the urge to go free running. Probably now that he was fully aware from getting a decent night's rest. Once he got to Daro's shop, he smiled in appreciation for the universal salesman's place of business. He seemed to have everything. "Morning, Daro!" he called before looking around. He hadn't quite noticed Raija and Farah yet, somewhat in his own world. However, it felt as if the temperature had risen just a bit, or maybe the air was humid.

After Evelyn had left Cory had decided that it was time for him to get cleaned up and as he finished getting cleaned up. He just happened to look in a mirror and notice something on his right upper arm a tattoo like marking designed like a crescent shaped moon.
Cory hummed "that's new..." He muttered as he touched it when he touched it a brief flash of his dream came to him and something in a feminine voice was telling Cory to follow her to find something. Cory blinked as the thought came to his mind. "follow her..." He then blinked "wait I just had Evelyn at my door..." He paused "shit I most likely forgot I was going to do something with her. Ah shit shit shit! No wonder she's mad at me." He grunted "damn it I better go find her and say I'm sorry." He quickly got dressed and rushed out of his house hoping to make amends with one of his main female friends.

"Class is dismissed. Thank you Dawn and Dusk."
Heads rose after prayer, gathered their things, and quickly bustled out of the classroom. The room was quick to become noisy from the anxious students eager to finally go home. After a brief break, it was more than awkward to return to their studies after the big issue being talked about. It left everyone scared. Teachers, students, just about everyone. Clearing his throat, Eren quickly gathered his things and shoved them into his parcel bag. The boy rose to his feet as a sigh escaped passed his lips, tossing the leather strap of his bag over his shoulder. He lead himself through the crowded hallways that filled with chatter about the previous nights. It seemed to be the talk of the town. Many called out to grasp the young males attention, however; he brushed it off with a simple wave of his hand. Trotting down the main steps of the school, he fell upon the large crowd of transportation. Few approached their family carriages, others set off on their long voyages on foot. Eren caught a glimpse of a familiar face waving to him from the window of their carriage. He cautiously made his way through the traffic of others, soon approaching his source of transportation. As the door was swung open from him, it revealed his mother sitting before him. "Good afternoon, my love, how was school?" Her gentle voice questioned as she pulled her son into a soft embrace, gracing her lips against his forehead. Eren took a seat directly across from her, carefully setting his bag beside him. He glanced forward, offering a simple shrug of his shoulders as a response to her question. Many would describe Mrs. Yagura as an angel. Her luxurious golden locks, glistening emerald eyes, and porcelain skin went hand in hand with her sweet personality. She truly could never hurt a fly. Clearing her throat, the female spoke up once again. "Many of your friend's mothers handed me a few more presents. They wanted me to give you their apology due to its lateness." She paused, softly sighing. "I apologize for such a terrible event occurring on your birthday, my sweet prince. However more, do not let it ruin the rest of your birth week. We still have much to celebrate!" Offering a warm smile, she signaled the driver the confirmation to take off. "Edmund, to the shops next please!"
The ride remained silent. Eren reached over to his bag and retrieved one of his text books to help pass the time. As he turned the pages, he couldn't help but take a glimpse of his wrist. There marked was the intricate branding of the crescent shape. Softly gulping to himself, his mind held many questions surrounding the matter. He soon tugged against the jacket of his school uniform to cover up said marking. Before he knew it, the carriage had finally arrived in the bustling area of the Bazaar. Following after his mother, the young boy took a glimpse of the busy shopping district. This was a familiar area for him, seeing as his parents took many frequent travels for him. His mother had entered a nearby shop, with him remaining outside. His glance fell upon the front window of the shop. The attention being pulled by the many flyers announcing the sudden halt in the upcoming festival. It was rather depressing, even in his eyes. This town was changing so much over a short span of a few days. The boy was quickly growing tired of hearing the same topic being spoken about time after time. Growing quickly impatiently, Eren decided to stroll on without the presence of his mother. He had no destination, nor shop, in mind. The male just grew ill of standing still for that short time.
