Farah almost jumped out of her skin as the actual gods themselves appeared, and spoke to them. She couldn't really believe it, but at this point, all was so strange, the only explanation WOULD be divine intervention. The messages were cryptic, and the images sent vague.
As the God caressed her, she felt odd, but comforted, somehow, as if he understood her and her problems, somehow, despite being above them all and their trivial nature. He was encouraging her to indulge in her designated sin....Envy?
In a flash, all of her angry thoughts came back to her- the hair pin, gifted to the woman who was pregnant with her husbands baby...Farah wanted to gift that hair pin directly into her eyeball. She jumped as she heard the sound of grinding jaws and teeth, and looked around to see who it was. Everyone seemed preoccupied with their own messages, however, and the grinding noise stopped.
"My voice...was that a gift?" Farah spoke aloud, as the thought just came to her. She looked to Raija. "Like when that drunk couldn't harm you...maybe that was something you can do...they're protecting us, but why? And what do they want us to do?"

Farah delicately showed her collarbone, where her tattoo was barely visible under the layers of powder she'd used. “Here. You have a tattoo like this one upon your head, good sir. Under your delightful....hat.”
Deandre scanned her neck, noticing the small moon-shaped mark. He furrowed his brows, grasping at the thought of having the same tattoo atop his head. When he heard her comment on his hat, his smile flushed. “My granddaughter made it!” He said, pride gushing out of his eyes and voice. “She’s only five years old, but she’s a spunky lit’l bugger. She thinks herself a mighty fine artist, doesn’t like to till the farm at all,” Deandre muttered, mostly to himself. Memories always seemed to engulf him.
The hymn pulled Deandre out of his own thoughts. As the heavenly bodies began circling the world, Deandre shielded his eyes. He glanced at everybody that was previously arguing. They watched in awe and excitement until suddenly they all dropped. Deandre gasped. In his old age, he had never seen anything like this. “You’re collarbone…” Deandre murmured to Farah, “It’s glowing.” He grimaced as he felt a sharp pain atop his head.
Looking toward the sky Deandre finally took notice of the city’s gods, Dawn and Dusk. Dusk descended to him first. Wearing a sly smile, she spun around him and embraced Deandre from behind. He nervously smiled, feeling like putty in her hands. As Dusk giggled at him, Deandre’s eyes whitened. She ingrained a message in the forefront of his mind:
"My innocent child, the sin of Lust. Blessed are you with our touch and with it, flexibility. Beware, for one must indulge in their sins to truly grow. Careful, my child, growth can crack the vessel, and denial will crack the world...
7 rotations is your affair, daily is your indulgence. May you succeed, my child.”
Deandre looked between the two girls. “Death for all if our word isn’t heeded,” Deandre said. “You heard them. We gotta follow their instructions or everybody will die… hey, what sin are you guys?” He asked, making eye contact with all of them. “I’m lust,” Deandre admitted, grinning sheepishly. “I’m bringing sexy back,” He joked.

Syrus did not know what to say to this divine being granted, Syrus was use to dealing with people of well upper class but certainly not to the level of god class. He simple nodded the light shining from his back. Syrus had been kicked out un-employed and was about to go and have his job interview when a god came to see him personally to let him know he was a chosen one a feeling of dread had overwhelmed him when he had realize the pressure of all this. Taking a few moments to collect himself he did manage to calm himself and stop shaking. “Pride huh, ironic that what got me kicked out” Syrus said getting a mischievous grin to his face.

In the wake of the gods, the sun began to peek from behind the moon, as a child would behind his protective mother. The black sky shifted into a rosey tinge of red. Clouds streamed through the air like well ornamented ribbons strung from a red dress. As the moon faded into obscurity, the sun setting just above the horizon to make the twilight sky. People began to stir from their hypnotic unconsciousness, moving robotically to their abodes as if the earlier bickering never happened. Soon the streets cleared, Sariyah quickly becoming a ghost town, away from the hustle and bustle that was seen earlier.
Raija looked around as the previous rioters disappeared, baffled. "Must be an act of the divine..." She turned her attention back to the group, looking for answers. Hearing Farah, she nodded. "I agree, it seems as if they want us to do something... A task of some sort." She looked at herself and patted her body. "The sin of wrath... I don't particularly feel different, just the symbol and the heat... I wonder the extent of our powers..." Glancing at the four around her, she sighed. "It seems we have a mission and we must use our powers to do it? What's the mission?" She put her finger to her chin, then her hand on her hip. "Hmm... Huh?"
A four legged, creature rubbed against her leg, making a strange 'Ku-no' noise. With white fur and tall, pointy ears, the tips painted with green. A slim figure, with tails also green-tipped. He had a diamond in his head the color of emerald. He sat in front of Raija and tilted his head to the side. Raija, being a natural lover, awed and cooed over the animal. "Awwwwww! Who are you? You're such a cutieeeee!" She picked him up and cuddled it, rubbing her face on its face.
"Put me down, I am your guide, not your pet!" A spark shone from his diamond and Raija's arms flew out in shock. "Hmph. I am Carbuncle. The God's deemed you too incompetent to fulfill your task alone, so I am here to guide you."
Raija puffed her cheeks out, crossing her arms over her breasts. "Hmph, yourself!" She side eyed the pet, then looked at the others again, looking for some sort of backup from the others.
Carbuncle made a lower, dragged 'kuuuu-noooo' noise, then walked in the direction of the castle. "Come now slowpokes, this is quite frankly your lives and the world on the line. The gods have been perturbed for some ages and now is the perfect time to make their move."
Raija, although angry, slowly walked after. His knowledge seemed far greater than theirs, and he was a talking animal. By now she accepted her life was in shambles. "Fine..."

As the sun came out from the moon and returned to the twilight haze. Cory would still be lost
Evelyn would slowly stir
Cory grunted "Evelyn..." He muttered as he gave her a nudge
"hmm?" Evelyn hummed "Cory, what happened."
"Well uh the sun..." He started then paused as he started to think. He could tell her what happened but he suddenly thought it would be too much work for him to explain things to her and if he did start talking about how Dusk came to him in disapproval and told him stuff that he didn't understand in the first place it would be way to difficult and frustrating for him to explain it to Evelyn.
"the sun did what?" Evelyn asked
"eh the sun blasted light and I blacked out when I came to everyone was on the ground including me." He stated then sighed "I honestly don't know if it's safe to be out anymore when the sun and moon playing games on us." He muttered "first they don't do normal things for three days then they decide to zap the population just like that..." He snapped his fingers and a spark occurred causing Cory to flinch in surprise "oh now you work..."
Evelyn hummed "and then there's that strange electrical thing going on with your hands."
"yeah that too." Cory muttered then frowned "something tells me something up but for the likes of me I just don't know what and I don't know what to do."
Evelyn hummed "well maybe we can do some research. After we get this food..." She gasped "the food." She looked around and saw that her bag of fruits and vegetables was spilled out on the ground. "oh..."
"hey hey..." Cory stated as he helped pick it up "see there's nothing wrong with it so a few fruits and veggies got a little dirt on them. They'll wash and be just fine. No need to fret Evelyn."
Evelyn sighed then hummed as she looked at Cory's bag which looked like he didn't dump it "did your bag dump when you collapsed?"
Cory hummed "uh you know I think I might have put it down just as the sun flared..." He lied "honestly I don't quite remember."
Evelyn hummed then sighed "whatever I think we need to get to my place. I think your right something freaky going on and I don't want to be outside..."
Cory hummed "yeah... come on..." He hummed as he looked in a direction. It was like he was drawn in that direction back towards where the others were, yet he couldn't ditch Evelyn that easily without losing his dinner invite... maybe he could come back later after he finished his task with her. Yeah that's it come back later after completing his current task. I mean it's not like he had to drop everything he was doing and go on some world saving quest right? Play things cool don't rush all in due time I mean there wasn't like he had a urgent time limit right.
Cory would head off with Evelyn.
(Don't worry I'll have Cory join the group on my next turn, place this as Cory going with the flow of the crowd and before Raija meets her little fox guide)

Deandre looked at his palms, letting his mind wander at his potential newfound ability. He looked at the wall and began straining himself. After a few moments he exhaled greatly then wiped his forehead. “Any more of that and I might’ve burst a blood vessel…” He groaned sheepishly. “Well I don’t have laser eye beams, we can check that off the list.”
“Incompetent? That would be their fault wouldn’t it?” He quipped. His demeanor quickly shifted though as he wore a smile. “Though I am always happy to accept help in the form of an adorable animal companion. I have plenty of chickens and cows at the farm. A couple goats and pigs too. We get along swimmingly. It’s a trust-based process I employ. As long as they know I’m not here to eat them and that we can be friends everything is hunky-dory.”
Carbuncle made a lower, dragged 'kuuuu-noooo' noise, then walked in the direction of the castle. "Come now slowpokes, this is quite frankly your lives and the world on the line. The gods have been perturbed for some ages and now is the perfect time to make their move."
Deandre looked at the castle looming overhead them. It gave him chills down his spine. Rumors circulated about the castle and its inhabitants so he never got too close. Now he has acquired supernatural abilities, befriended a talking quadruped and been summoned by the gods for a life threatening quest. Mission number one? The castle. Nevertheless, Deandre trudged forward steadily keeping pace with Carbuncle.

Down the same path that led the group to the castle stood a young child. With pitch black hair, piercing blue eyes, and skin as pale as the moon, he stood silently to himself. It was a rather strange scene to approach, seeing as the town was cleared just moments ago. The boy extended his arm out, gawking at the newly made stamp that spread across his right hand finger tips and back of his hand. Left puzzled, he had no idea how to come across this. Eren glanced up, watching as the group was inching closer towards him. "I think I'm your seventh sin." His voice admitted, almost coming across as a light hearted joke, but still frail and afraid. With a quick scan over, one would be quick to assume he is young in age. Any normal child would be rather scared, especially for one who is used to being dependent on their mother and father.

Larry blinked, looking around as the beautiful sound of a Godly hymn filled the air. It was then that the sun and moon began to circle the earth at an unimaginable speed, until joining together fora solar eclipse. "What...." was all he could get out before everyone seemed to collapse. everyone, that is, except the Prodigal 7. he immediately put his hand over his chest, gritting his teeth through the burning feeling he felt. In a few moments however, that didn't matter anymore. Not compared to the sight of the Gods themselves, Dusk and Dawn, appearing before them.
The beautiful Dusk then approached and embraced him. He was stunned in her beauty and the powerful presence she exerted. "My poor child, the sin of Greed. Blessed are you with our touch and with it, consumption. Beware, for one must indulge in their sins to truly grow. Careful, my child, growth can crack the vessel, and denial will crack the world...
7 rotations is your affair, daily is your indulgence. May you succeed, my child."
Dusk's words left him even more speechless than her presence. He didn't understand at all. What did she mean? He looked up as Dusk and Dawn reunited before them. "All sins are necessary for the affair. Death for all if our word isn't heeded." And like that, they were gone once again.
As the others began to stir as well, he crossed his arms, thinking. "Apparently, I'm Greed.....but, I don't understand. I've always done my best to help others, I never thought of myself as greedy...." He blinked as he heard a strange sound and looked down to see some creature against Raija's leg. His eye's widened in surprise as it began to speak. Of course, he supposed it wasn't the strangest event today. Carbuncle urged them to follow him, and Larry reluctantly nodded. Then, something came across his mind. "They said all sins are necessary for the affair, right? So....there are 5 of us. Aren't there 7 sins? That means we have to find the others before we're done, right?" As if on cue, he noticed a young boy in their path. Unlike other children around his apparent age, he didn't seem to be scared or panicking. "I think I'm your seventh sin." Larry tilted his head slightly. "Hm. Well.....I guess that answers my question....."

Farah thought to herself a moment. "So, I'm the sin of envy..." Flashes of why that could be floated through her mind- the happiness her husband shared with another woman, the woman who was bearing his child, because Farah could not, and their blatant disregard for her finding out because until today, she had been housebound. She was sure if she'd asked anyone, they'd tell her she was more beautiful than this woman he'd found, more rich, from a better family, but none of that mattered to Farah, and she didn't even think it was true.
She was envious that this woman had stolen the only love she had, by providing something he liked more than Farah's wealth and waning beauty: constant intimate relations and a family.
Farah nodded her head warmly to the child, a little shocked.Gods...they've involved a child?
"Hello there, young man.Welcome to the fold, I suppose." Farah wondered a moment. "What will they want us to do?"

"I think I'm your seventh sin."
"Apparently, I'm Greed.....but, I don't understand. I've always done my best to help others, I never thought of myself as greedy...."
"What will they want us to do?"
Raija also had questions of her own, but due to her scuffle with the furry creature she kept them to herself. She turned her attention to the child, walking up and greeting him. "Hello kiddo, I'm Raija!" She said with a comforting smile.
A vein began to rise above Carbuncle's left eye, getting bigger and bigger with every question. Reaching a breaking point, he stopped and turned, eyeing everyone boldly. "Let me make myself clear." Carbuncle's normally cutesy voice gained a deep, booming bass fit for a dragon and his eyes had a blood red hue. Following was a soft wind, breaking the silence that followed. Raija's eyes open, Carbuncle spoke. "This is the world on the line. Every single soul. Every acre of vegetation. Every brick of a house. Every inch of flesh that makes up each one of you." He took a pause, meeting Raija's eyes especially. "Everything that you've ever loved or cared about. Gone.[/i]" Carbuncle turned around again, continuing his march.
"You haven't the time to understand. Just do." His voice returning to his soft, cute tone. Raija's heart was beating, beads of sweat forming on her palms, concealed because she held them together. "They want you to sin." Carbuncle, for some reason, chose to answer Farah's question. Maybe he felt pity for the lady, her sin was a cruel one. "Commit an act of your sin. Daily. Your personality does not matter. Your ethics do not matter. The code by which you live does not matter. Sin severely. Until it becomes a part of you. Only then will you survive."
Raija tilted her head. Though she had a couple temper tantrums here and there, taking a couple extra minutes to run Daro's errands could hardly be called 'wrathful'. How could she throw her life away in an instant?
The wind blew her red strands of hair as the group approached a stair-bridge that marked the entrance to the Scenic District of Sariyah. The sun had almost fully set now, the color changing from the beautiful streams of red to the black blanket, speckled with white polka dots, of the night sky. The stars burned beautifully in the sky, some brighter, some smaller, some bluer, some whiter, but each doing it's part to contribute. The cherry-wood stair-bridge was illuminated by the full moon and stars, also given a low red tinge from the oil lamps that began to blaze(The people formed a way to store the sun's heat and allow it to rise at night when it cools, igniting the oil without assistance). The waterway under it ran tranquil, the sound of the water gently brushing the rock below gave the scene an ironic ambiance. Like it was the last time their world would ever be this peaceful.
Raija stepped onto the bridge first, soaking up the beauty of the night. She could smell the ferns and shrubs of the Scenic District, almost making her forget what brought her here. "Ahh... It's so beautiful." She said with a smile. "This is a world I'd love to save..."
Just as she said those words, Carbuncle disappeared into a puff of smoke. A woman walked up to Raija. The stranger's eyes blank, Raija sputtered nervously. "He-hello." The woman gave her no response. With a maniacal smile, the lady rose a knife at Rai, bringing it down as fast as possible. With a gasp, Raija rose a hand and closed her eyes, bracing herself for the pain to come, but it never happened. Her eyelids creeping open, she saw the blade 1 inch from her neck, the stranger just as frozen as she was.
She pulled back the knife and threw it at her, but the knife simply curved around Raija and landed at her feet. "________." The blank face woman spoke, but no words came out. "You're a _______!" Raija shook her head, too scared to move forward towards her aggressor, too scared to look back for help. "N-No, you have the wrong person I'm-" She pleaded.
"________!!!!" The lady charged Raija, winding a punch but it soon had the same result as the knife. Her punch stopped 1 inch from Raija's face. Tears running down her face, Raija turned back to run towards the group. "Help m-"
Sin!
Rai choked on her words, a voice she never heard before coming into her head. "Wha-"
Wrath... Sin!
Soon, the friends Raija turned to all vanished to smoke as Carbuncle did, to be tested, just as she would. Alone, with nowhere to run. She recalled their fuzzy companion's words. She turned towards the lady, sobbing in tears and walked towards her. "_________!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The lady's mouth was moving, her face more animated. Her body expressing her feelings for her, Raija need not hear the words coming out of her enemy's mouth. She walked up nervously, the lady unflinching, launching blank slurs out of her mouth. The silence was the only comfort Raija could find, she couldn't imagine the pain she'd feel if the lady could properly articulate herself. Soon, Raija approached arm's reach of the lady, who took the time to attempt another punch. "Why... Why do you hate me."
Sin.
"I only love..." Raija said, hurt. Hurt that she had to do this. Hurt that she had to sin.
Sin.
The lady spit at her, the phlegm stopping in its tracks and falling just as everything else that tried to harm her. "Why can't you hit me... That would make everything better."
Sin!
Raija looked up, her eyes now waterfalls of anguish. She balled her right hand and turned her body, delivering a very weak blow to the lady in front of her. The lady paused for a second, touched her cheek, and began to flail at Raija and hurl words she couldn't hear. Raija sniffled and took another swing with her left, closing her eyes as her knuckles made contact. "I'm... Sorry." She swung again and again, the only noise the rustle of the grass, the water below them, and her fists hitting skin. After enough swings, the lady fell down, unable to keep her balance. Her face black and blue, mouth red. Raija's knuckles were sore and bleeding, the sting of the salt from her tears as she wiped her face was the only thing reminding her of her humanity. Her mark began to glow a bit, a small heat attracting towards it.
Sin.
The voice wouldn't stop, Raija couldn't stop it. The lady, although downed, still spit blood at her occasionally when she managed, her tongue too swollen to speak any more insults. Raija stood over the lady, took another breath, her chest panged, and she swung once more, knocking the lady unconscious. Her mark shone fully through her clothes, her daily sin accomplished. She took a couple steps forward and kneeled down, crying. Crying that she'd done what she did, crying that she HAD to. Crying that she felt so powerless. Crying that she didn't know what to do.
