Daro smiled as Farah delivered his compliment, gave a gentle laugh and continued to clean the areas around the shop, allowing Raija to further assist his beautiful customer.
Looking the lady up and down, Raija blushed at her compliments, baring her teeth and her cheeks rose to her eyes. "Eh-heh heh. How flattering of you to say. But you underestimate your own . For you to talk of me so highly is an honor I shall take with me forever." The woman never received such compliments, especially from a beautiful soul such as this one. Her soul fluttered with every word reaching her ears. Upon her request to help her with a hair ornament, Rai nodded cheerfully. "They all look nice to me, but-" She shuffled over to the hair pieces, putting her finger to her cheek as she hummed over which one would be best suited for Farah. "Ahh, Lady F-Farah? Was it? I'm Raija." She said picking up an elaborate hairpin that seemed to have been made ages ago, but still having the shine and refined look one would want. It was a dark green in color, with subtle red lines going through it, made with a stone that seemed to resemble jade or pearl. "I don't know your friend, nor can I say I'm well acquainted with you, but this particular one fits you the best." She said with another smile, walking up to her and holding her shoulder. "Let me see how it looks!" Exclaiming excitedly, she nudged Farah along towards the piers, where she can see her reflection in the beautiful waters of Sariyah. Mirrors were around, but Raija also had something to share with her, something concerning.
Walking through the crowds of people, under shade, in the sun, in open spaces and in crowds of people. Walking down the stairs to the water, looking up to at the huge trade ships and wall that overlooks the ocean, Raija shifted uneasily. Her mind was racing throughout the whole walk, concern growing on her face. She took off her shoes and dipped them in the water, her face showing a grimace as she did. "Lady Farah." She said holding tightly onto the hairpin. "Let me put this in your hair." She said moving towards her, placing the new one in carefully. Reaching around to make sure everything is even and symmetrical, she felt a prick on her finger. "Ow!" She exclaimed, her body jumping from shock. Looking at her finger, watching the red ooze out of her skin, she smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure what that was. Forgive my clumsiness." She repeated, especially ashamed. "But um... Lady Farah. This warmth... I think. I think it's coming from you."
"Morning, Daro!"
Daro looked up from his activities to see a well-dressed young man approaching him. "Ah! My man Larry! You just missed her lad, the lady of your dreams was just here. My store-mate took her somewhere, she should be back soon." Daro laughed heartily as Larry came over, giving him a pat on the back that would make Larry shift a couple tiles forward. "What can I get for ya!"

Syrus Grant had headed back to his home well at least what had used to be his home although the stay was not long. He had become increasingly irritated by the servants of his family’s home. “Father Orders do not outrank mine…” Syrus hissed having been denied access into the actual home. One of his least favourites stood before Syrus giving him the news. Syrus blood began to boil with rage especially when he heard a backhanded comment about blood not being wanted on the carpet. Storming off to the bazaar it actually seemed like Syrus would have to get a job.

Larry blinked in a slight curiosity at the mention of a woman. "That so? Well, be sure to point her out to me when she shows," Larry laughed, taking the large man's words as a hearty joke. Of course once he was patted on the back, he stumbled forward a couple of steps before catching himself. Sometimes he wondered if Daro simply didn't know his own strength, or found it amusing that he could easily knock a man off balance. "Oh, just a few supplies. Hammers, nails, paint and a couple brushes. A few people went a little nuts the last couple of days, pops and I plan to head around and see who could use help." It felt like the temperature dropped again back to a comfortable level, which Larry was thankful for. He was never a fan of sweating, unless he was hard at work, of course.

Farah beamed as the girl introduced herself and led her away with the exquisite hairpin. Farah glanced down at herself in the mirrored waters, and saw nothing but the fool she was. Her eyes glazed over, and she was about to object to the warmth coming from Raija, when she caught her hand on something. Something Farah felt was attached to her own head.
"Oh, oh my! I'm so sorry- it- it must be a rogue hairpin. Poor girl, I really should learn to dull the antique ones- here-"
She flustered into her pocket and pressed an ornate clean handkerchief around the bleeding finger.
"I cannot apologize enough, but- you say I'm warm? It's an unseasonably hot day, but I feel as if the warmth is coming from....you."
Farah raised an eyebrow in confusion.

The crowd had a life of its own. It ebbed and flowed like a river with currents running against each other. There is chatter between sellers and buyers, old friends catching up, new friends made. It's busy for sure, but the hustle and bustle brought life back to Sariyah. Life that had been stripped from the people for a few days. Though nobody seemed too interested in any of his services, that thought alone brought a smile to his face. Feeling a tug on his garments, Deandre looked down to find a scruffy looking kid. “Gramps, can you fix the wagon back on our farm? The wheel broke and my father is too ill to do it.”
“Of course I can, I’ll have it ready for you within the hour,” Deandre replied with a warm smile. His eyes widened as it dawned on him that he’d have to visit Daro to get the right equipment for the job. “Hmm, make that two and I’ll lower the price for the inconvenience.”
The kid grinned, “You’ve got a deal! We’re the red farm furthest from the waterfall.” Turning around, he ran off into the crowd and disappeared. Deandre waved, though he quickly realized the kid wasn’t looking and was probably too short to see it. While searching for a job, Deandre long passed Daro’s shop. In the corner of his eye, he noticed Syrus who seemed to have steam coming out of his ears. “Poor shame. Fella’s too young to have that type of look in his eye,” He said, walking behind him at a considerable difference.

Daro rubbed his scruffy beard for a couple moments, looking Larry up and down then looking around the town. "I have just what you need, my man. As an Ewige Mond sale, I'll give you all for the price of one." He prodded the back of the store, going from the top to the bottom, kneeling down and looking under objects. "Ah, got it." He picked up a small handy kit with all the tools necessary for fixing and painting just about anything. "We need all the help we can get right now, man!" Daro laughed heartily again, placing the kit on the desk. "Just lay what you got on the table, I'll be finishing up around here. If you see a girl with red hair, tell her to look after the shop if I'm not here. Her name's Raija." He said shooing Larry away playfully.
Rai looked at her in silence, blinking a few times before saying anything. She nodded her head as she patched her bleeding finger, a gentle grin crawling across her lips. "Things have been a little weird for me since Ewige Mond... The shopkeeper said not to talk about it but, I felt like you could understand." She confided lowly, making sure no one could hear, she also didn't want to disclose any names. "Like... I've felt your warmth a lot, and also there's this weir- Ow!" A drunkard bumped into Raija, knocking her off balance and stumbling into Farah. "Oh? I'm sorry Mister. I should-"
"Hey you little _______!" The man held his throat, wondering what happened. "_________!" His mouth opened, but it seemed the words choked him when he tried to say it. "____!!!! ___! ___! ________! I CAN'T TALK!" When words finally left his mouth, he exhaled in relief. "You _____! Stay away from me!" He exclaimed in terror running off drunkily, bumping into a couple strangers on his way and falling into the port water, having civilians come rescue him.
Raija stared at him in awe, wondering if he was playing a joke on her, Praying he was playing a joke on her. But the look on his face told her it was real. "U-u-u-um. I-I'm sorry a-again." She said in a panic, fearful of what just happened. "D-d-d-did I do that?" Turning towards Farah. "I'm scared." She strained through her teeth. Pulling her sleeve back on her left shoulder, she revealed Dawn's emblem. "I w-woke up. W-with this." This was bold of her to show this to someone she just met. But her familiarity, her warmth, her condition slight angst also compelled her to share. Rai also found it strange that she'd been walking all day, but only when she came across her did she feel this warmth. In the shade, warmth. In the sun, warmth. Even right now, with the sea breeze, warmth. "P-p-please. T-t-tell m-me. D-do you h-have one t-t-t...too??"

Farah remained nonplussed as the drunken man stumbled into Raija- the day after Ewige Mond, it was likely that many would be becoming drunk, but this man was no exception- he turned around with a blind rage that made Farah remember why she liked to stay inside, and as he opened his mouth to scream doubtless obscenities, and Farah prepared to call over Daro-
He couldn't. He literally couldn't. Not a bad word would leave his mouth about Raija. To those wandering past it was simply a sad drunk making another scene in the bazaar. A guard would usher him along and he'd sleep it off in some shaded garden somewhere. But Farah saw the confusion and terror in his eyes. His body would not allow him to speak.
As he stomped off, Farah listened to Raija.
"Normally, I'd have said that the acts of drunken men would not be your fault, but- he was completely unable to speak ill of you, if at all. I- I've never seen such a thing."
When Raija showed her mark, Farah's eyes widened. It was bold of the girl to confide in her, but also, comforting.
"I- I also have one of those." She uttered softly, before pulling her collar down slightly to show the slightly powder-concealed mark on her collarbone. "I...didn't really know how to explain it."
Her scalp felt like rumbling again, and a few of her hairpins rattled. She pulled her own collar up quickly, and a feeling of dread began to rise inside her.
"I didn't feel anything this morning....after 3 nights of darkness, alone- I just wanted to get out. But now you mention it, I- I feel different, too. I can't explain the mark."
She had her back to the water now, and her peripheral vision made her turn her head slightly, something was reflecting in the water. Farah calmly and subtly looked at her reflection of the back of her head, and lifted a tress of hair ever so slightly. Underneath was a glimmering, ivory adornment nestled in her hair, a blossom of Raija's scarlet blood on its' sharp end. It was a hairpin she'd never seen before. just like that, it was gone.
The dread rose higher.

Cory made his way to Evelyn's house and was greeted at the door by her younger sister Levi who had similar blond hair but she was younger by a few years. "Hey Cory." She chirped
"hey Levi, Evelyn around?"
"Last I knew she went to your place." Levi stated "didn't you see her."
"yeah... and I think I pissed her off by completely forgetting I was supposed to do something with her" He chuckled nervously "I was hoping to make amends."
"well she is supposed to go to the market and get stuff for tonight's dinner. We're celebrating the suns return. I think she wanted to invite you but if she's mad at you..."
"I may not get an invite..." Cory moaned "I better go help her." He muttered then ran off
Levi giggled as she watched him go. "hey Sis, Cory was just here... looks like he begging to be taken back."
Evelyn giggled "I'm gonna let him sweat a little longer then I'll go to the market."
Levi giggled "you'll think he'll buy anything for the dinner tonight."
"maybe or maybe he'll buy me a little gift." She giggled again "thanks for not telling him I was here serves him right for thinking a goddess would want a lazy bum like him."
"oh he's not that lazy, he just likes the easy way." Levi stated "but that makes him easy to trick right." She giggled
Evelyn giggled as well

Larry's eyebrows both raised at the mention of the price. "That's a hell of a sale. That's why you're the best, man!" Larry smiled as Daro headed off to grab his things. The gentle giant sure could look intimidating, but nearly everyone in town knew that he was as giving as he was bulky. Laying down most of the cash he had on him, Larry grabbed hold of the kit, pulling it off of the table. "Raija, huh? No problem. Shouldn't be too hard to spot with hair color as unique as that," he laughed. "I owe you one!" he said as he rushed out of the store, not giving Daro enough time to deny the offer, as he likely would, before heading toward the Docks in search of the likely flock of fisherman, hoping to catch someone before they headed to the Bazaar. That way he could have the best selection of fresh fish from those willing to sell.

Raija stared at Farah as she reciprocated her confession, speechless and in awe. As Farah turned the back of her head to the water, Raija looked the direction she was facing. She was a little paranoid at this point, so she thought Farah spotted something she had not. Looking back at Farah she observed her fixing her hair, slightly perplexed at how she had time to groom herself in such a dire moment. "I think... Think we shouldn't tell anyone. I don't know what this means... Why is it happening? What if there are more?" She began to ponder the situation, her brain wracking itself over the situation. She went over everything that's happened since Ewige Mond. "Still. We better get moving." She said motioning with her hand up the stairs. "I-I... I also had a weird dream. Do you recall something similar?" She said quietly, heading back to the shop. "And what if there are more... What do we do?"
